  • Patent number: 6253825
Abstract: A device in door arrangements includes a plurality of door panels hingedly interconnected to pivot about respective pivot axes. The pivot axes are positioned Between the side walls of contacting door panels. The hinge includes a convex member and a concave member, the concave member forming part of the other door panel. These two members extend along the edges of the corresponding door panels, coinciding with the pivot axis, with each member collectively forming a bearing face. Each door panel has a main profile extending uninterrupted over the entire cross section, and the edge of the door panel exhibits a curved section extending in the thickness direction. Further, each door panel has rigidifying portions arranged in the edge area.

  • Patent number: 6094929
Abstract: The present invention relates to an arrangement and to a method for cooling a radio transceiver unit (100a, 100b) mounted at the upper part of a radio mast (140; 120b). A cooling unit (110) conveys a coolant (130) from the lower part of the radio mast (140; 120b) to the radio transceiver unit (100), where said coolant (130) cools the transceiver unit. The proposed solution enables the cooling unit (110) to cool simultaneously two or more radio transceiver units (10a; 100b) that are distanced from the cooling unit (110). The solution also enables a reduction in the weight load on the radio mast (140; 120b) and enables the cooling unit (110) to be reached more easily for repair and maintenance work.

  • Patent number: 6010920
Abstract: There is a trend in the electronics industry towards a preference for components that can be surface mounted on a carrier, such as a circuit board. By using surface mountable leads on a component together with a "Single-In-Line" technique it is possible to surface mount a component (5) upstanding on a circuit board (7) with the component leads surface mounted on the board. The leads (8) may be bent at their bottom extremities and provided with feet (10) for effective contact with the board. Guide and support pins may be used to hold the component in position during mounting and connecting the component and to brace the leads on the component when mounted on the board.

  • Patent number: 5214919
Abstract: In order to be able to modify in a simple manner the response of a supercharged internal combustion engine as a function of the engine load, an arrangement is proposed in which the driver may regulate the charge air pressure build-up by means of a manual setting control. The manual setting control is connected to an electronic control unit which, as a function of detected engine parameters, controls the supercharging pressure with respect to desired values stored in the control unit. As a function of the adjusted position of the setting control, a reduction of the charge air pressure which is dependent on the engine load is effected. In this way, the driver can choose which response the engine will have for partial load ranges, where it is possible either to have full charge air pressure at all throttle positions or a gradual increase of the charge air pressure on increasing throttle opening.

  • Patent number: 5004465
Abstract: A disposable absorbent article such as a diaper, a sanitary napkin, an incontinence protection garment, a wound dressing or the like has a liquid impermeable surface layer (2) and a liquid permeable surface layer (4) encasing an absorbent core (5) therebetween, and elastic members (11-14) applied thereto. The liquid permeable layer (4) is composed of at least two separate webs (3, 4) joined together by a bonding pattern constituted by substantially parallel bonding lines at least crossing the elastic members (11-14) in order to cooperate with these members, whereby the liquid permeable surface layer (4) on its side turned away from the absorbent core (5) air-filled channels and a soft, wavy surface.

  • Patent number: 4711162
Abstract: In a method of ventilating rooms, fresh air is introduced into the room at one or several places at floor level by means of diffuse air supply, and the room air is exhausted at the ceiling level of the room. One or several jets of fresh air (2a, 2b) are blown at high velocity into an induction chamber (4) thereby sucking surrounding air (3) into the induction chamber and becoming mixed therein with the surrounding air sucked into the induction chamber. The mixed air from the induction chamber (4) is introduced essentially horizontally into the room to be ventilated. Into the induction chamber (4) surrounding air is sucked in which consists of air (3) from the room to be ventilated, this air being sucked into the induction chamber from a level in the room which is higher than the level at which the mixed air is introduced into the room. The mixed air is introduced into the room by means of diffuse air supply.
