  • Patent number: 5189934
Abstract: Arrangement for production of sections cut out from a material web (18), such as sections for articles of clothing. It comprises a carrier element (19) with a deposit surface (17) for the material web (18), an automatic cutter (16) which is displaceable over the cutting member (70; 77) is supported by the slide arrangement. The cutting member is moved by means of a computer program along the intended contours of the sections which are to be cut out. The carrier element (19), which can be a conveyor belt, is of a material which is elastically compressible. The material, by virtue of its elasticity, tends to form a main plane in which, as a result of the compressibility of the material, depressions can be formed by exerting a force on the material, for example by pressing-down of bottom parts of the cutting and picking members.

  • Patent number: 4817778
Abstract: Arrangement for conveyor systems which are intended to transport objects (19) to particular places, for example work stations (4). The system comprises an upper transport level with conveyor arrangements which are so adapted as to transport the objects in an essentially horizontal direction and a lower level, at which the work stations are situated, with a second conveyor arrangement so adapted as to transport the objects between the upper level and the lower level for the transport of the objects to the work stations from the upper level and from the work stations to the upper level for onward transport in the latter. The second conveyor arrangement comprises a number of chains (28) which extend in the form of endless loops between the upper and the lower level. They are advanced by, for example, chain wheels (30) for the transport of the objects between the levels.

  • Patent number: 4706800
Abstract: A device for use with conveyor tracks, comprising a continuous drive element (2), arranges so as to be moved by drive device (30) on a track with steering mechanisms for the drive element and load-carrying elements moving along the track, they being equipped with attachment devices (28) to the driving element in such a manner that they can accompany the same in their movements for the transport of materials. Drive element (2) has the shape of a band with corrugations, between which are constructed transverse grooves. The material in the drive element is hard and resilient and is preferably composed of a stiff plastic material and is dimensioned in such a way that the corrugations and hence the grooves in general retain their shape during the intended drive resistance and the intended load under the effect of the pointwise applying driving elements (30).

  • Patent number: 4474114
Abstract: A conveyor for moving a number of goods carriers (22) along a track has a drive device provided with a driver member (59) operating with a reciprocating movement which can entrain the goods carriers in the desired transport direction and move freely in the return direction. The track consists of a hollow profile (1) with a groove (11) which in the longitudinal direction of the track firstly has fully closed sections and secondly is provided with sections having a side aperture (62). Plugs (26, 32) are inserted in the fully closed sections and between the plugs cylindrical spaces (40) are formed which enclose a piston (36) with a piston rod (38) which extends beyond the cylindrical space. In the open sections members (24) which can move along the groove are provided, these members being combined with piston rod (38) and provided with the carrier devices (59) which are accessible through the side aperture (62).

  • Patent number: 4461596
Abstract: Arrangement for frames and the like which are composed of distance elements, for example in the form of tubular struts and holding devices which keep these together in the form of coupling nodes (1), each of which comprises an initial inner portion (7) which is arranged to be clamped in a cavity in one of the elements, and the second outer portion (6) which is arranged to hold a second element by clamping firmly around this by means of outer contact surfaces (16). The coupling nodes (1) consist of two components (2, 2) which are located on either side of a center plane and furthermore there are for example screw devices for displacing these components in relation to each other. By this means the said clamping can be obtained during which the contact surfaces (16) move towards each other. On either side the cavity in the first-mentioned element exhibits surfaces which face away from each other.
