Abstract: A communication system, adapted to establish connections to, and between, Internet users, including a cellular radio communication network adapted to provide a short message service (SMS), and a server adapted to facilitate the establishment of a telephony/Internet connection between a mobile subscriber station of said network and an Internet user. SMS is used to transfer, from the mobile subscriber station to the server, information identifying the Internet address for the Internet user and, from the server to the mobile subscriber station, information relating to the required connection between the mobile subscriber station and the Internet user.

Abstract: A procedure to transmit information at a telephone answering service, especially in mobile telephone systems. The telephone answering service has a voice mailbox for recording of speech, and also transmits a text message to the mobile telephone especially via SMS (short Message Service). The procedure makes possible an improved functionality in the system in so far as the text message is transmitted in parallel to the mobile telephone from which listening to the voice mailbox is performed. The text message usually contains a telephone number which can be connected with applications in the mobile terminal. The procedure makes it possible that telephone numbers or personal messages, manually or automatically, are stored in the mobile answer function and are transmitted to the listening mobile terminal.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method at a mobile tele and data communication system, which makes possible for an A-subscriber to transmit data to an application in the B-subscriber's mobile terminal in connection with the call setup. Examples of transferred data can be information which in the B-subscriber's mobile terminal executes a specific ringing melody, a personal logotype etc. The invention is characterized in that UUS is used as carrier to, at the setup, transfer this data information to the application in the B-subscriber's mobile terminal.

Abstract: A system and associated method of providing position specifications of a mobile telephone station is provided. A position specification is provided to a mobile station via a cell level general cell broadcast. When a specific telephone call is made from the mobile station to a center, the specific call will trigger the transmission of the position specification collected via the cell broadcast (CB). The position specification is transmitted from the mobile station via a short text message (SMS) to the center.

The modules may be realized in SAW-technology, and continuously varying tap attenuation may be achieved by the utilization of PIN-diode attenuators.
