  • Patent number: 7064469
Abstract: An essentially ring shaped core back for an electrical machine comprising a plurality of stacked, ring shaped sheets of soft magnetic material, a barrier of electrical resistance arranged between two adjacent sheets of soft magnetic material for reducing effects of eddy currents. At least each sheet of soft magnetic material in a subset of said plurality of stacked, ring shaped sheets of soft magnetic material includes a plurality of circumferentially arranged tooth openings that are extending axially through each sheet in said subset of said plurality of stacked, ring shaped sheets of soft magnetic material, additionally, each sheet of said subset of said plurality of stacked, ring shaped sheets of soft magnetic material includes a first inner closing portion and a second inner closing portion that are arranged between each tooth opening and an inner perimeter of said ring shaped sheet of soft magnetic material.

  • Patent number: 6810914
Abstract: A method and arrangement to accomplish a self-acting function of one way flow in a conduit with minimal flow resistance is disclosed. A one way valve, which in an unaffected position blocks the conduit, is of a flexible, elastic material, and is arranged with a tight fit in connection to the inner surface of the conduit and is partially fixed along the inner circumference of the conduit by means of one or more parts having a surface with longitudinal/circumferential extension in the conduit. In case of pressure of a medium in one direction of the conduit, any flow will be blocked due to the fact that the pressure of the medium will press the non fixed parts of the one way valve against the inner surface of the conduit, whereby a completely tight element is formed. In addition, the non fixed parts of the one way valve collapse in case of pressure of the medium directed in the opposite direction, whereby a flow will be let through without any substantial resistance depending on the magnitude of the pressure.

  • Patent number: 6462616
Abstract: Improved methods and arrangements are provided for use in a computer telephony system that supports dial by name operations. A multiple purpose contacts database is modified through a graphical user interface (GUI) to include corresponding phonetically spelled information and/or other alias information for a contact. Voice recognition capabilities in the computer telephony system, which support the dial by name operations, can be directly invoked through the GUI to playback the phonetically spelled information and/or other alias information.
