  • Patent number: 11360233
Abstract: A method can include receiving seismic image data; processing the received seismic image data to generate stratigraphic information using a trained convolution neural network that includes channels subjected to convolution, activation and pooling that reduce spatial resolution and subjected to deconvolution and concatenation that increase spatial resolution; and enhancing the seismic image data using the stratigraphic information to generate an enhanced seismic image.

  • Publication number: 20220121987
Abstract: Computing systems, computer-readable media, and methods for providing multiple computer-generated seismic data interpretation options, of which the method includes receiving a training input, sorting the training input into a first group and a second group, subgrouping the second group into a plurality of subgroups, generating a plurality of trained models based on the plurality of subgroups and the first group, receiving a prediction input having a set of data to be interpreted, generating a plurality of interpretation options for the prediction input by applying the plurality of training models to the prediction input, and outputting the plurality of interpretation options.

  • Patent number: 11199642
Abstract: A disclosed method for wellsite operations includes obtaining a spectral decomposition, of a seismic data associated with a geological formation. The spectral decomposition includes a first spectral representation generated using a first operator and a second spectral representation generated using a second operator. The method also includes determining a first characteristic of the first operator and a second characteristic of the second operator. The method further includes determining at least one acceptable operator based on the first characteristic and the second characteristic. The method also includes generating a geological model feature using the at least one acceptable operator.

    Assignee: Schlumberger Technology Corporation
Inventors: Ahmed Adnan Aqrawi, Mats Stivang Ramfjord
  • Patent number: 11048000
Abstract: A method can include receiving seismic image data of a geologic region and interpretation information of the seismic image data for a geologic feature in the geologic region, where the seismic image data include a geologic feature class imbalance; shifting the geologic feature class imbalance toward a class of the geologic feature by increasing the spatial presence of the geologic feature in the seismic image data to generate training data; and training a neural network using the training data to generate a trained neural network.

  • Publication number: 20160025877
Abstract: Computing systems, computer-readable media, and methods may include determining, for a hydrocarbon field, a hazard cube that represents one or more hazards associated with drilling a new well in the hydrocarbon field. The method also includes determining one or more drilling constraints for drilling the new well in the hydrocarbon field. Further, the method includes generating a drilling volume for the hydrocarbon field. The drilling volume may comprise a three dimensional representation of one or more areas of the hydrocarbon field that may be drilled to avoid the hazards and satisfy the one or more drilling constraints. Additionally, the method includes displaying the drilling volume for analysis by a user.
