  • Publication number: 20240091663
Abstract: A simulated ice cream dispenser for dispensing a simulated ice cream product includes a receptacle for receiving a simulated ice cream product to be dispensed and at least one rotating arm member rotatably configured with respect to the receptacle and including at least one flap extending from the at least one rotating arm member. A handle member including at least one engaging member engages the at least one rotating arm member for rotating the at least one rotating arm member when the handle transitions between first and second positions. In the first position, the at least one rotating arm member is positioned such that the at least one flap extending from the at least one rotating arm member is positioned within the receptacle for supporting a simulated ice cream product within the receptacle.

  • Publication number: 20240074614
Abstract: A simulated outdoor gas-fired grill includes a simulated thermometer. A grill assembly includes a grate and a flame plate positioned below the grate. The flame plate includes simulated flame segments positioned to extend through slots in the grate. The grate is movable toward and away from the grate. A cam connected with a knob contacts the underside of the flame plate and moves the plate toward and away from the grate, simulating adjustment of the heat setting of the grill. The grill includes a port to hold the thermometer. The thermometer has a dial face at a proximal end and a probe at a distal end. The probe is biased in the distal direction and is movable inward and outward from a housing of the thermometer. A nut fixed with the probe engages a dial shaft within the thermometer housing. The dial shaft is rotatable about the central axis of the housing and engages with the nut. Movement of the probe, including the nut, relative to the dial shaft causes the shaft to rotate.

  • Publication number: 20240058720
Abstract: A toy simulating a selectable beverage container may include a rotatable spindle having an axis of rotation arranged horizontally, a band connected with the spindle and arranged to wind onto and off the spindle, and a spigot arranged around at least a portion of the spindle, wherein the spigot comprises one or more openings arranged to allow the band to extend downward from the spindle. Rotation of the spindle in a first direction causes the band to unwind from the spindle and to extend from the spigot. A second band may be attached to another side of the spindle such that rotation of the spindle in a second direction causes the second band to extend down from the spindle.

  • Patent number: 11766624
Abstract: A toy for simulating the dispensing of a beverage. The toy includes a bench decorated to represent a beverage dispenser, such as an espresso machine. The toy also includes a simulated filter basket. The filter basket has a handle, a disc receiver and a support ring. The handle and disc receiver are rotatably connected with the ring so that, when the handle is rotated, the handle and disc receiver rotate about the horizontal axis with respect to the ring. One or more discs shaped to rest in the disc receiver are provided. Each disc has a decoration on one face showing a material used to create a beverage, for example, ground coffee, and a second face decorated to represent the top surface of a dispensed beverage, for example, a latte. The toy is operated by placing one of the discs in the disc receiver with the face showing the material facing upward. The filter basket is into a slot on the frame and the cup is positioned beneath the disc receiver.

  • Publication number: 20230249094
Abstract: A toy that simulates a stand mixer provides users, for example, children with the experience of preparing foods. The mixer includes a base shaped to sit on a horizontal surface. A vertical member extends from the base and holds an extension that extends over a portion of the base. A bowl is sized to fit on the base below the extension. The extension includes a semicircular clip aligned with a semicircular slot on the extension. The mixer includes interchangeable tools, such as a whisk, a dough hook, or a paddle blade. The clip and the extension define a circular space to hold a handle of the tool and allow the tool to spin, simulating the mixing action of a stand mixer. The clip flexes away from the extension to allow one tool to be removed and another tool to be connected.
