  • Publication number: 20260092805
Abstract: Systems and methods for single draft weighing of a moving vehicle. A method includes providing a weighbridge disposed in the path of the moving vehicle, monitoring a signal from a weight sensor operably connected to the weighbridge for a weight sensor threshold to determine a scale entry time, sampling a stream of data based on the signal from the weight sensor as the vehicle moves across the weighbridge, wherein the sampling occurs for a predetermined data acquisition time duration; verifying that the entire weight of the vehicle was supported by the weighbridge for at least the data acquisition time duration; and in response to the verifying, calculating a single draft weight of the entire vehicle based on the sampled stream of data from the weight sensor.

  • Publication number: 20250276400
Abstract: A material processing system is provided that includes a contact-start plasma arc torch connected to a power supply via a torch lead and a computing device in electrical communication with the plasma arc torch. The computing device includes an arc initiation module and a transition module. The arc initiation module configured to (i) cause the contact-start plasma arc torch to emit a first thermal arc to cut a first part from a workpiece and (ii) terminate the first thermal arc at the second location after the first part is cut from the workpiece. The transition module is configured to, upon detection of the termination of the first thermal arc at the second location, automatically (i) initiate a reset of the plasma arc torch and (ii) delay initiation of a post-flow process in the torch.

  • Patent number: 12149527
Abstract: Methods and systems are described for verifying an identity of a user through contextual knowledge-based authentication. The system described uses contextual knowledge-based authentication. By verifying an identity of a user through contextual knowledge-based authentication, the verification is both more secure and more intuitive to the user. For example, by relying on confidential and/or proprietary information, the system may generate verification questions, the answers to which are known only by the user.

  • Patent number: 11999418
Abstract: A lift and tow module for use with a trailer and method of towing a trailer with a truck. The module has an arm having a connection point for securing to a tow vehicle and a lift body having a connection point for securing the lift body to a trailer. The connection point comprises at least two connection mechanisms spaced apart on the main body for connection to corresponding mechanisms on the trailer. A support plate is extendable from and operably supported by the main body and the lift body is movable in reciprocal directions. Mechanical actuators are operably coupled to the body and the arm for controlling respective movement, which allows the module to jack up a trailer, connect to a trailer, and/or tow a trailer.
