    Abstract: This invention relates to methods for preparing metal nanoparticle-containing silicone compositions, such as silver nanoparticle-containing compositions. The metal nanoparticles are prepared by reducing a soluble metal salt with an SiH-containing material or other reducing material in an organic solvent. Silicone materials are added either before or after addition of the reducing agents. The organic solvent is then removed.
