  • Patent number: 11944174
Abstract: A unit of luggage configured to ascertain its own weight. The unit of luggage comprises a detection assembly with one sensor assembly disposed around each wheel. Each sensor assembly comprises a housing assembly and a shaft disposed therein. The sensor assembly comprises a sensor housing, a cylinder housing and a cylinder. A load cell sensor is generally disposed within the sensor housing and is operatively disposed adjacent to the shaft such that it may engage the sensor and cause an upward deflection that generates a stress indicative of the weight of the unit of luggage being transferred to the particular, corresponding wheel. The cylinder housing is disposed below the sensor housing and encloses the cylinder, which itself encloses the shaft. A frictional resistance between the shaft and the cylinder permits a controlled movement of the shaft therein and permits a processing unit to ascertain a corresponding weight reading.

  • Patent number: 10683734
Abstract: Dissolvable casing liners are utilized to isolate existing perforations. A dissolvable casing liner is deployed downhole along the interior of a casing string having a plurality of perforations. The casing liner is then secured against the casing string, thereby effectively sealing the perforations. Once the perforations are isolated, refracturing operations may be conducted. At some time thereafter, the casing liner is dissolved and removed from the wellbore.

  • Publication number: 20200061878
Abstract: A molding apparatus includes a plurality of deep-draw compression molds. Each of the molds includes a mold cavity and an associated mold core. A rotating support structure operatively supports the mold cavities and the mold cores relative to each other. The molds open and close as they travel around a closed path defined by the support structure. A mold material discharge mechanism deposits a predetermined amount of mold material in each of the molds. A heat source superheats the molds, and a mold closing mechanism closes the superheated molds, compressing the mold material between the mold cavities and the mold cores to form a deep-draw component A coolant source rapidly and actively cools the molds, and a mold opening mechanism opens the cooled molds. An ejector is disposed to eject the deep draw components from the molds. A method of molding deep-draw components is also disclosed. The system and method of the present invention facilitate compression molding of deep-draw components.

  • Patent number: 10480286
Abstract: A system and method for fracturing multiple zones along a length of a wellbore during a single run are provided. A single mechanical shifter device may be lowered on coiled tubing to shift open multiple sleeve assemblies set along the wellbore to expose different fracture zones for desired fracturing treatments. The sleeve assemblies may each include a shifting sleeve designed for engagement with the mechanical shifter device. The mechanical shifter device may move the shifting sleeve along the wellbore to collapse a baffle component of the sleeve assembly. Once the baffle is collapsed, an isolation component of the shifter device may engage the collapsed baffle to form a plug through the wellbore. Pressure applied from the surface may push the baffle and a sliding sleeve of the sleeve assembly downward, thereby exposing fracturing ports through the casing of the wellbore. Fracturing applications may then be performed through the ports.

  • Patent number: 10364649
Abstract: A system and method for fracturing multiple zones along a length of a wellbore during a single run are provided. A single magnetic shifter device may be lowered on coiled tubing to shift open multiple sleeve assemblies set along the wellbore to expose different fracture zones for desired fracturing treatments. The sleeve assemblies may each include a magnetic sensing system designed to detect a magnetic field output from the shifter device. The magnetic sensing system may output a control signal to an electro-hydraulic lock to collapse a baffle component of the sleeve assembly.
