A mower can be provided with a cooling system that produces a cooling airflow within a mower frame to extract heat from power electronics. A mower can include control assemblies with an adjustable neutral position to improve inter-operation of braking and tractive controls. A cutting assembly for a mower can include an adapter configured to allow a blade to rotate independently of a motor spindle when a transmitted torque is above a threshold torque value.
