  • Publication number: 20160011590
Abstract: Examples described herein involve a playback device performing one or more playback device actions based on locations of one or more physical contacts on an external surface of the playback device. A processor of the playback device may receive from an array of proximity sensors underlying an external surface of the playback device, location data indicating a physical contact at a location on the external surface. Based on at least the location, the processor may identify a playback device action from a plurality of playback device actions, and cause at least the playback device to perform the identified playback device action. The playback device may further include at least one orientation sensor from which the processor may also receive orientation data indicating an orientation of the playback device. The processor may identify identify the playback device action also based on the orientation of the playback device.

  • Patent number: 9210840
Abstract: A boom deck and removable side deck mowing tractor device facilitates efficient conversion between use of the boom deck and the side deck. The device includes a boom arm coupled to and extendable from a tractor. A boom deck is coupled to the boom arm and a first mowing blade is coupled to the boom deck wherein the boom arm, the boom deck, and the first mowing blade define a boom mower. A side deck is removably coupled to a lateral side of the tractor. A second mowing blade is coupled to the side deck wherein the side deck and the second mowing blade define a side mower. A control mechanism is coupled to the tractor and selectively couplable to each of the boom mower and the side mower wherein the control mechanism controls a selectable one of the side mower and the boom mower.

  • Publication number: 20150349548
Abstract: A transport refrigeration unit (TRU) battery charging system includes a programmable transport refrigeration system (TRS) Controller, a TRU battery and a programmable battery charger (BC) programmed to transfer electrical current to the TRU battery via a predetermined current path through the programmable TRS Controller in response to a value of offset current drawn from the TRU battery by the programmable TRS Controller and subsequently communicated to the programmable BC by the programmable TRS Controller. The programmable TRU battery charger allows for a dynamic load characterization of the programmable TRS Controller and accessory loads based on programmable TRU battery charger internal shunt current measurements and programmable TRS Controller internal shunt current measurements to allow the programmable TRU battery charger to function properly with all intended modes of operation.

  • Publication number: 20150226271
Abstract: A shearable drive coupling assembly includes an adapter having a top end with a drive shaft well extending downwardly therein. A plurality of spindle splines extends outwardly from an outer surface of the adapter and a plurality of shaft splines extends inwardly from an inside surface of the adaptor. The plurality of spindle splines engage a receiver of an article of powered equipment. A drive shaft of a drive motor engages the shaft splines so that the adapter is coupled to the drive shaft and transfers a rotational torque between the drive shaft and the receiver. The plurality of spindle splines or the plurality of shaft splines shears away from the adapter to decouple the drive shaft from the receiver when the receiver is exposed to a trigger counter-rotational force to protect the receiver and the drive shaft from damage.

  • Publication number: 20150072543
Abstract: In an embodiment, a stepped spring contact may have a first portion, a transition portion, and a second portion. The first portion may include a plurality of windings whose pitch may vary. The second portion may include a plurality of windings that are closely wound. A pitch of the windings contained in the second portion may be, for example, constant. The transition portion may include a winding that may make mechanical and electrical contact with a first electrical conductor (e.g., a pad contained on a printed circuit board (PCB)). The first portion may include a tip. The tip may be, for example, flat shaped or conically shaped. The tip may make electrical contact with a second electrical conductor (e.g., a terminal connector). In operation, the stepped spring contact may provide electrical continuity between the first electrical conductor and the second electrical conductor.

  • Patent number: 7214016
Abstract: Improved panels suitable for use in bulkhead and partition systems. In one embodiment of the invention, the panels are seamless, one-piece members integrally formed from a single resinous material. In other embodiments, the panels include depressions that obviate the need to fill the panels with foam or other supportive filler material. In still other embodiments, the panels have no fasteners extending through panel so the panels are substantially impervious to moisture. Other embodiments have grooves or similar mounting apparatus disposed around their peripheral edges to which edging such as supports or flexible seals may be mounted. In yet other embodiments, the grooves are arranged so as to permit worn out seals to be quickly and easily replaced without the need to remove mechanical fasteners.
