Abstract: A network communications process may comprise establishing communication between a service user and a service provider, soliciting and in response transmitting user name and password information, and in response substantially matching records of passwords and associated user names in records of the service provider, transmitting by the service user identifying data which corresponds to a specific data record reflective at least of video-based information and stored on the service provider's computer, and conditioned upon the submission of the specific data which substantially matches identifying information for the specific data record stored on the service provider's computer, configuring the data record for communication and actuation of video player software means operable through use of the service user's computer.

Abstract: A computer-based system and business method for recording vehicle purchase transactions involving sales staff and customers. The method involves, through use of a software-driven program on a PC and corresponding server software operating on a remote server, recording audio and video data using a PC-connected digital video camera and PC-connected microphone, generating transaction-specific data to be saved with the audio and video data, transmitting the transaction-specific data, audio, and video data to a remote server for storage, cataloging, and for later search/retrieval if needed by end users. An improved internet protocol (designated SENIP) is employed for enhanced data security in all client/server data transactions.

Abstract: The invention is of a novel business method for presenting pre-recorded promotional presentations to customers at vehicle dealerships, ordinarily in connection with after-market products or services. The system plays one or more presentations to customers, based on selection criteria entered into an on-screen start menu. After the selected one or more presentations are viewed, a customer (or the sales staff member) is presented with purchasing decision menu. Upon conclusion of the presentation and indicated purchase decision, the software which manages the system records to a searchable database, for each viewing session, at least the particular presentations that were viewed, by whom they were shown, the customer to whom they were shown, the purchasing decision as to each product or service presented.
