  • Patent number: 12011470
Abstract: This disclosure provides cannabinoid preparations for human consumption that have proven clinical benefits. The preparations are made from full-spectrum hemp oil, which includes a mixture of cannabinoids that work synergistically to achieve the beneficial effects. The hemp oil is micellized, which increases intestinal absorption, resulting in higher potency and a more rapid onset of action. The micellized oil may be combined with micellized cinnamon or clove oil as a flavor enhancer. When consumed daily, the combination of using full spectrum hemp oil with micellization imparts the consumer with an improvement in well-being by several criteria. Benefits include a reduction in inflammatory cytokines, lowering in glucose levels, and weight loss. The micellized cannabinoid preparations of this invention improves sleep quality by extending the period of time spent in deep sleep.

  • Publication number: 20240125062
Abstract: An animal feces collection assembly for automatically collecting animal feces in a yard includes a cart that has a drive unit integrated into the cart and a collection space is integrated into the cart. The cart has a ramp is positionable in an open position or closed position. A collection unit is movably integrated into the cart to engage animal feces that have been collected on the ramp. The collection unit is actuated into a retracted condition to urge the animal feces upwardly along the ramp and into the collection space. A camera is coupled to the cart thereby facilitating the camera to capture footage of the yard view the animal feces. The drive unit is actuated to drive the cart toward the animal feces and the collection unit is actuated into an extended condition when the cart approaches the animal feces to automatically collect the animal feces from the yard.

  • Patent number: 11826320
Abstract: This disclosure provides a technology for managing elevated cytokine levels and the risk of cytokine storm in viral infection, exemplified by SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. A special mixture of cannabidiol (CBD), tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV), and cannabidivarin (CBDV) is extracted from the flowers and leaves of Cannabis sativa (industrial hemp). The purified oil is packed with a surfactant into small micelles, which considerably increases absorption by the gastrointestinal tract, resulting in higher potency and a more rapid onset of action. Daily treatment of patients infected with SARS-CoV-2 reduces the circulating level of the pro-inflammatory cytokines tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF?) and interleukin 6 (IL-6) by 25 to 50% or more. The level of circulating markers of ongoing inflammation, such as C reactive protein (CRP) and/or erythrocyte sedimentation rate (EST) are also reduced.

  • Publication number: 20230038771

The preparations are made from full-spectrum hemp oil, which includes a mixture of cannabinoids that work synergistically. The hemp oil is micellized with a median particle size of 22 nm in diameter, which considerably increases intestinal absorption, resulting in higher potency and a more rapid onset of action. Taken regularly, the preparation helps improve sleep quality by lengthening the time spent in deep sleep. In patients with COVID, the improved sleep quality is accompanied by a lower risk of cytokine storm.

  • Publication number: 20220108638
Abstract: A system for mounting and positioning an array of panels, such as display modules of an electronic display device, includes a plurality of springs supported on a chassis that includes an array of cavities bordered by multiple ribs. Each of the panels is supported on front surfaces of the ribs to establish a Z position of the panel. Each panel is engaged by one or more of the springs to press together abutting edges of adjacent panels, which may reduce the appearance of seams between adjacent pairs of panels and accommodate thermal expansion. Magnetic elements retain each panel to the chassis in the Z direction while allowing the panels to float on the springs in the X and Y directions. Magnetically-actuated retention hooks allow the panels to be removed from the chassis without accessing a rear of the system.

  • Publication number: 20220027111
Abstract: Examples provide for a mobile computing device to include a camera, a processor and a memory resource to store a printing control application. In examples, the processor can execute the printing device control application to control the camera to capture a series of images of a region surrounding the mobile computing device using a plurality of image setting. Additionally, the processor can process individual images of the series of images using a corresponding image setting of the plurality of image settings and detect, by processing the individual images, a graphical encoding element in at least a first image of the series of images, using the corresponding image setting of the at least first image. Upon the processor detecting the graphical encoding element, the processor can perform operations to implement an encoding recognition state to interpret an encoding of the detected graphical encoding element.

  • Patent number: 9802141
Abstract: A cleaning system for filter beds uses the existing permanent infrastructure of a water filtration plant. Treatment fluids of opposite pH are introduced into a pair of filter cells that are separated by a gullet. Each filter cell contains a filter bed. One filter cell receives an acidic treatment fluid and the other receives an alkaline treatment fluid. After treatment is complete, the treatment fluids from each filter cell are simultaneously drained into the gullet, where mixing and neutralization occur. The resulting spent treatment fluid has an intermediate pH that allows it to be safely drained into a wastewater sewer.

  • Patent number: 9602414
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for control of bandwidth reclamation in a content distribution network. In one embodiment, the invention provides a network operator or subscriber with the ability to disable or otherwise control reclamation in a switched digital video (SDV) network. A controller uses rules in determining whether to reclaim bandwidth. These rules designate certain carriers, content, devices and/or subscribers as high priority (or protected from reclamation). In one variant, the rules determine which subscribers are queried (“pinged”) in order to evaluate whether delivered content is actually being utilized by these subscribers. Alternatively, selected ones of the devices are configured so as to generate an automatic response to any ping messages. In another variant, the rules for disabling bandwidth reclamation are entered via user interaction with an application running on a client device and in communication with the controller via a network proxy, or with the SDV server directly.
