Patent number: 11979273Abstract: In one example, a server system interfaces with a plurality of remotely-situated client entities to provide data communications services. The system uses processing circuitry to access an archive of voice data indicative of transcribed audio conversations between a client station and another station participating via the data communications services. Archived voice data includes keywords associated with at least one intent or at least one topic of the transcribed audio conversations. The system identifies keywords and/or identified contexts in a message (e.g., text-based message) received by a text-based virtual assistant, and correlates the text-based message with at least one intent or at least one topic by matching keywords from the archive of digital voice data with the identified keywords from the text-based message. The system may automatically configure the virtual assistant associated with the remotely-situated client entity to address the received text-based message, based on the correlation.Type: GrantFiled: May 27, 2021Date of Patent: May 7, 2024Assignee: 8x8, Inc.Inventors: Bryan R. Publication number: 20240146845Abstract: Exemplary aspects involve a data-communications apparatus or system communicate over a broadband network with a plurality of remotely-located data-communications circuits respectively associated with a plurality of remotely-situated client entities. The system includes data-communications platform (e.g., UC-CC) that processes incoming data-communication interactions including different types of digitally-represented communications among which are incoming call, and that is integrated with a memory circuit including a database of information sets. Each of the information sets includes experience data corresponding to past incoming data-communication interactions processed by the platform, and with aggregated and organized data based on data collected in previous incoming interactions.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 3, 2024Publication date: May 2, 2024Inventors: Bryan R. Publication number: 20240092540Abstract: Systems and methods for tote lid hinges are provided. In some embodiments, a tote includes: an interior of the tote; a lid to cover the interior of the tote; and a hinge mechanism configured to be opened in more than one direction. Different applications and use cases of a tote require differences in the opening direction of the tote lid. A flexible hinge mechanism allows the lid to be opened/closed for these various applications using the same hinge & lid design, rather than changing the lid type by application.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 12, 2023Publication date: March 21, 2024Inventors: Matt Taylor, Michael Hash, Mattias K-O Olsson, Philip C. Carbone, David J. Hensel, Tejas Acharekar, Karen Benedek

Publication number: 20240098036Abstract: This disclosure describes a payload pipeline system that, as part of an inter-network facilitation system, can facilitate digital payload throughput between network components using a staggered payload relayer. For example, the disclosed systems utilize custom tooling to implement a staggered payload relayer as an intelligent conduit or pipeline that operates as a publisher-subscriber paradigm system (as opposed to a data stream system). In some cases, the disclosed systems can utilize synchronous or asynchronous communication to receive digital payloads for events from publisher network components and to make the digital payloads available within a payload queue maintained by the staggered payload relayer (for access by subscriber network components).Type: ApplicationFiled: September 16, 2022Publication date: March 21, 2024Inventors: Bhashinee Garg, Alex Kleissner, Bartlomiej Ogryczak, David Lyons, Keerthi Nallani, Matt Taylor, Pengyue Li, Peter Baker, Renjie Xu

Patent number: 9624701Abstract: A multi-point lock having an easy to install modular drive mechanism for shootbolts located at the top and bottom edges of a door in which the multi-point locking system is installed that requires only relatively simple door preparation. The shootbolt operating mechanism is installed into a narrow groove cut into a lateral edge of a door which may be cut using relatively simple tools in relatively quick fashion. The shootbolt actuating mechanisms are flat driverails that are made of flat barstock that fit slidably entirely within the narrow groove defined in the lateral edge of the door above and below the mortise pocket.Type: GrantFiled: August 26, 2011Date of Patent: April 18, 2017Assignee: HOPPE Holding AGInventors: Matt Taylor, Scott Trogner, Dan Mattrisch

Patent number: 7878034Abstract: An intuitively operable door locking arrangement and a method include, a lock-point arming input element that is connected directly to a handle-operated control element of the locking arrangement, rather than being connected directly to a lock-point of the door locking arrangement. The locking arrangement and method may be used in hinged single or multiple-panel installations, having single, and/or multiple lock-points, may allow keyless locking from outside, and may include a latching arrangement. In active door locking apparatuses, the lock-point is movable only through operation of the handle-operated control element. The lock point arming element is selectively moveable between an armed and a disarmed position thereof, and is configured and connected to the handle-operated control element in such a manner that the handle-operated control element may be used to move the lock-point to the locked position thereof only when the lock-point arming input element is in the armed position thereof.Type: GrantFiled: February 2, 2007Date of Patent: February 1, 2011Assignee: HOPPE Holding AGInventors: Helmut Alber, Oliver Erich Rudolf Schuberth, Christian Josef Stephan Zeus, Dan Mattrisch, Eric Stoutenborough, Matt Taylor
