Abstract: The inventive subject matter relates to a novel wireless tracking apparatus, and systems methods for using the apparatus for tracking moving objects tagged with wireless tags. In particular, the wireless tags are preferably RFID tags and the apparatus comprises at least two RFID readers, each reader comprising an antenna and a transceiver, wherein the antenna are oriented at an angle to each other so that the signal transmissions of adjoining readers do not overlap.
