  • Publication number: 20130285421
Abstract: A children's tray with a placement indicator includes a tray and a groove/spot formed in the tray to indicate where an eating item (including food, utensils, or dishware) is to be placed. The tray can be mounted, removably or fixedly, to a variety of child support structures, including high chairs, booster seats and bouncers and includes a wall around the periphery intended to prevent items from falling off of the tray. The groove/spot formed in the tray may be formed from of a material having a higher coefficient of friction than the material used to form the tray. The groove/spot formed in the tray may be formed from of a material having a different color than the material used to form the tray.

  • Publication number: 20130288811
Abstract: A child's swing support structure includes a seat assembly having a first configuration and a second configuration. The seat of the swing support structure is able to be configured in a reclined configuration for infants or an upright configuration for toddlers. The seat can be locked into the upright configuration when a tray is connected to the seat of the swing support structure. The seat is rotatably coupled to a frame of the swing support structure, where the swing is free to swing back and forth with respect to the frame. Furthermore, a drive mechanism may be attached to the frame for mechanically swinging the seat back and forth.

  • Publication number: 20130288564
Abstract: A doll with reconfigurable hair and dress is disclosed. The hair is rotatably coupled to the top of the head of the doll and a switch within the head of the doll. Furthermore, the switch is connected to the output mechanism, dictating which output the output mechanism produces. When the hair rotates about the head of the doll, the switch is actuated, changing the output of the output mechanism. Additionally, the dress of the doll is capable from converting from a full gown that folds away to reveal a skirt.

  • Publication number: 20130214574
Abstract: The present invention is directed toward an infant support including a frame and an infant seat. The frame includes a first frame member pivotally coupled to a second frame member. The footers of the frame member are curved to permit the rocking of the frame on its support surface. The seat includes angled wall portions that define an offset lowest point. With this configuration, a child placed within the seat is safely positioned within the seat such that the child experiences a front-to-back rocking motion. An attachment member, such as a canopy or a mobile arm, may be attached to the frame.

  • Publication number: 20130193024
Abstract: A fastener system includes a toy product, a support platform, and a plug that engages a keyhole formed into the product. The plug includes a base and a pronged key extending from the base. The support platform includes a through-hole that permits the passage of the key into the packaging. One or more integrally-formed biasing members are located on the base of the plug to draw the key toward the product and create a secure connection. The pronged key may be formed from a plastic material and configured such that it plastically deforms but remains attached to the key when and predetermined force is applied to the key to pull the key from a misaligned position with respect to the key hole.

  • Publication number: 20130165016
Abstract: Hip joint assemblies, and posable toy figures that incorporate the hip joint assemblies, including a pelvis housing having a front portion and a back portion, where the front and back portions in combination define side openings in the pelvis housing, and a contoured friction plate vertically disposed within the pelvis housing. The hip joint assembly further includes two leg sections, each leg section having a disk member attached via a hip post, and each leg combined with the pelvis housing so that the disk member lies within the pelvis housing and the hip post passes through a side opening so that the face of the disk member abuts a face of the contoured friction plate, and the frictional interaction between the disk face and the friction plate renders the attached leg posable as it pivots around the axis defined by its hip post.

  • Publication number: 20130143467
Abstract: A toy building block set includes multiple polyhedron blocks of different lengths removably attachable together. Each block includes at least a top and four side walls. At least one connector extends from the top and includes opposing interior and exterior surfaces. A recessed area is provided at the bottom of each block. Engagement projections or depressions are provided on the connector and the remaining engagement structure are provided in the recessed area of each block where they might fully or partially engage or not engage with structures on the connector. The mechanical interference engagements and resulting engagement forces provided between any two of the blocks are less than three and even less than two times the number of engagements and resulting engagement forces provided by a mated pair of the smallest polyhedron blocks of the set.

  • Publication number: 20130143655
Abstract: An electronic game device including a first sensor section hingedly connected to a second sensor section. One or more proximity sensors and one or more output devices are operatively connected to the sensor sections by circuitry. The first sensor section and the second sensor section each include a sensor space such that placement of an object in the sensor space of the associated sensor section may actuate the one or more proximity sensors of that sensor section. The circuitry is configured to determine whether the proximity sensors are actuated and to emit an output signal. Hinges allow the game device to be folded from a linear game orientation, to a multi-dimensional game orientation, and to a bi-linear game orientation.

  • Publication number: 20130095923
Abstract: A remote control for use with a media player coupled to an output device. The media player is configured to receive signals from the remote control, to read and execute information stored on a game medium, and to cause the output device to transmit generated signals. The remote control includes a controller, an input coupled to the controller, a transmitter coupled to the controller, and a receiver coupled to the controller. The controller is configured to selectively operate in a first mode that causes the transmitter to transmit a signal upon user actuation of the input, and a second mode that prevents the transmitter from transmitting signals upon user actuation of the input. Reception of a first generated signal by the receiver causes the controller to operate in the first mode, and reception of a second generated signal by the receiver causes the controller to operate in the second mode.
