Patent number: 11113307Abstract: The present disclosure relates to synchronizing entity identifiers across multiple data centers. In some embodiments, an entity identifier translation server may be deployed within a cloud-based distributed environment. The entity identifier translation server may receive data from multiple different data centers and detect changes/updates to entity identifiers within the data centers. In response to detected changes, the entity identifier translation server may identify one or more corresponding entity identifiers within the other data centers. For each of the corresponding entity identifiers within the other data centers, the entity identifier translation server may determine whether or not the corresponding entity identifier is to be synchronized with the newly-changed entity identifier in the first data center, and if so, may initiate synchronization processes.Type: GrantFiled: March 23, 2018Date of Patent: September 7, 2021Assignee: ORACLE INTERNATIONAL CORPORATIONInventor: Matthew Abrams

Patent number: 11023441Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to storing, processing, and classification of content resources, such as documents, web-based resources, and other content. More particularly, the present disclosure describes techniques for distributed storage of network session data in hierarchical data structures stored on multiple servers and/or physical storage devices, and techniques for analyzing and classifying the distributed hierarchical structures. Such techniques may include executing different machine-learning algorithms on different servers and/or different storage devices, and generating node mapping data between a plurality of different hierarchical structures and a top-level derivative hierarchy that references the underlying hierarchical structures in order to access and manage the different distributed taxonomies within the underlying hierarchical structures.Type: GrantFiled: May 11, 2018Date of Patent: June 1, 2021Assignee: Oracle International CorporationInventors: Aditya Mugali, Gennady Nurik, Matthew Abrams, Robert O. Patent number: 8761369Abstract: Implementations of the present disclosure involve an apparatus, system and/or method for a central hub of a telecommunications network to provide varying services for a received communication intended for varying telecommunications networks. In one embodiment, the central service hub receives the communication and provides the varying services for the communication based on information concerning the communication, such as the intended telecommunication network. In another embodiment, the central service hub analyzes the communication and determines to which telecommunications network the communication should be routed to apply the appropriate network services. The central service hub may comprise a softswitch, media gateway controller device or other telecommunications device that includes programming, such as an application programming interface (API), configured to receive and process the incoming communications.Type: GrantFiled: September 14, 2012Date of Patent: June 24, 2014Assignee: Level 3 Communications, LLCInventors: Richard Dean Terpstra, David Allen Tschirhart, Matthew Abram Karp, Michael Jared Officer

Publication number: 20140079205Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems, methods, computer program products and the like for managing calls in a telecommunication network. In one example, the systems and methods involve passing information into a standard signaling flow in order to obtain a unique routing for customers sharing a single interface.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 14, 2012Publication date: March 20, 2014Applicant: LEVEL 3 COMMUNICATIONS, LLCInventors: Matthew Abram Karp, Brian Bennefeld, Michael Jared Officer

Patent number: 8176980Abstract: A method for producing bitumen or heavy oil from a subsurface oil sands reservoir, the subsurface oil sands reservoir and an overlying gas zone in fluid communication, the method includes providing an in situ combustion process in the overlying gas zone, to create or expand a combustion front within the overlying gas zone, providing a thermal recovery process in the oil sands reservoir, to create or expand a rising hot zone within the oil sands reservoir, and selectively operating the thermal recovery process or the in situ combustion process or both such that the rising hot zone does not intersect the overlying gas zone until the combustion front has moved beyond that portion of the overlying gas zone at the intersection.Type: GrantFiled: February 5, 2010Date of Patent: May 15, 2012Assignee: FCCL PartnershipInventors: Javier Enrique Sanmiguel, Matthew Abram Toews, Larry Wayne Freeman

Publication number: 20060177174Abstract: An integrated circuit cast on a single die having a plurality of receivers in a receiver region, a plurality of transmitters in a transmitter region, and a spatial separation region having a plurality of n-type and p-type subregions disposed on the single die to separate the transmitter region from the receiver region. The pn-junctions between the n-type and p-type subregions are reverse-biased thereby reducing or eliminating coupling of noise and crosstalk between the transmitter and receiver is reduced.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 15, 2006Publication date: August 10, 2006Inventors: Matthew Abrams, Young Kim, Myunghee Lee, Stefano Therisod, Robert Elsheimer

Patent number: 6594672Abstract: Improved techniques for generating multidimensional output using a relational source database are disclosed. The techniques allow generation of instructions needed to access the source database in order to produce multidimensional output. The instructions do not need to be stored and can be generated dynamically. As a result, relational databases can be accessed without requiring additional programming and/or changes to the relational database. The source database can be a relational database that is accessed by a variety of conceptual accessing techniques (e.g., SQL). A Meta-data manager can be used to access the source database, as well as interact with a Meta-data modeler and a Meta-data outliner. The Meta-data modeler can be used to define a Meta-model. The Meta-data outliner can be used to create one or more Meta-outlines.Type: GrantFiled: June 1, 2000Date of Patent: July 15, 2003Assignee: Hyperion Solutions CorporationInventors: Dale Lampson, Brent Beardsley, Matthew A.
