  • Publication number: 20240121230
Abstract: A method and apparatus for generating and using secure sharded onboarding user interfaces are described. The method may include determining, based on account type of a merchant account being onboarded for a merchant by a first user, that information for a user type associated with a second user associated with the merchant is to be collected to satisfy minimum merchant account compliance requirements. The method may also include allocating a person object in an accounts data store maintained by the commerce platform system, the person object associated in the accounts data store with the merchant account. Furthermore, the method can include generating a secure link and transmitting the secure link to the second user, the secure link resolving at the commerce platform system and comprising a unique identifier that is associated with the person object.

  • Publication number: 20230325895
Abstract: A method and apparatus for generating one or more user interfaces are described. The method includes transmitting a request for creating a merchant account that onboards the merchant for use of services provided by the commerce platform system. The method includes in response to executing an onboarding user interface received from the commerce platform, establishing a merchant context for the merchant account in a memory of the merchant system, where the merchant context stores a local copy of merchant account data for the merchant account. Furthermore, the method includes determining, based on data stored in the merchant context, a composition that renders one of a plurality of different user interfaces for collecting a set of the merchant account data associated with the composition, and determining a subset of merchant account data that is required to comply with a minimum set of account information.

  • Patent number: 11580001
Abstract: Systems for web page or web application instrumentation. Embodiments commence upon identification of a computer-readable user interface description comprising at least some markup language conforming to a respective document object model that is codified in a computer-readable language. An injector process modifies the user interface description by inserting markup text and code into the user interface description, where the inserted code includes instrumentation code to invoke dynamic generation of instrumentation locator IDs using the hierarchical elements found in the document object model. The modified computer-readable interface description is transmitted to a user device. Log messages are emitted upon user actions taken while using the user device. The log messages comprise the instrumentation locator IDs that are formed using hierarchical elements found in the document object model.

  • Patent number: 11089094
Abstract: Systems for managing user collaboration over objects stored on a cloud-based service platform. A server in a cloud-based platform maintains a set of read/write metadata that is associated in one-to-one correspondence to stored objects that are accessible by two or more collaborators. The server does not maintain a list of peers that communicate over peer-to-peer connections, rather the server exposes a semaphore for access to the metadata that pertains to a particular one of the stored objects. The server responds to download requests from the collaborators so as to deliver executable signaling protocol computer code to the collaborators' user devices. The signaling protocol code includes semaphore access by the collaborators' user devices using an application programming interface. Two or more accesses over the same semaphore establishes a leader and at least one follower. Corresponding ephemeral peer-to-peer connections are established between the leader and the at least one follower.

  • Patent number: 10713420
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and system for composition and declaration of tiled images in a style sheet. Embodiments commence upon identifying a cascaded style sheet (CSS) repository, wherein the CSS repository comprises referenced images that correspond to a subset of a set of images that are referenced in rules and fetching the referenced images that are within the CSS repository. The referenced images that were fetched are assembled into a spirited image. The spirited image is then augmented by placing high-resolution images into a sprited layout, wherein the high-resolution images correspond to the referenced images from the rules. One or more modified CSS sheets that references the sprited image rather than the referenced images are generated.

  • Patent number: 9953016
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and system for composition and declaration of tiled images in a style sheet. Embodiments commence upon identifying a collection of one or more computer-readable instances of individual style sheets, and identifying a corresponding collection of computer-readable objects comprising input images, wherein an individual style sheet includes references to the input images. The collection of one or more computer-readable instances of individual style sheets are used to determine a set of referenced images, which set of images are assembled into a tiled image. References to the images found in the set of images are modified or replaced such that the statements in the style sheets reference the tiled image rather than individual input images. One or more modified style sheets are output to be used in lieu of the unmodified style sheets.

  • Patent number: 9830132
Abstract: An original UI configuration is formed by a combination of a first user interface structural component portion, a first user interface style code portion, and a first behavioral code portion. When a variation of the first UI feature or a new feature is to be implemented, a second UI configuration is deployed, where the second UI configuration is formed by a second user interface structural component portion, a second user interface style code portion, and a second behavioral code portion. The second UI configuration implements a variation of the first UI feature. Embodiments deploy a third UI configuration formed by the second user interface structural component portion, a third user interface style code portion, and the second behavioral code portion. The third UI configuration emulates the original UI configuration using the second behavioral code portion. The third configuration or the second configuration can be enabled based on a software switch.
