  • Patent number: 11222323
Abstract: Systems and methods provide at least one software application to users from a software monitor computer server. The software application requires a license grant for use. The software monitor computer server tracks usage of the software application to develop historical use patterns. The software monitor computer server also receives calendar input from electronic calendars of the users and analyzing the calendar input to identify future calendared uses of the software application. This allows the software monitor computer server to predict the future license grant needs of the software application based on the historical use patterns and the future calendared uses of the software application. The software monitor computer server also provides substitute software applications to the users when an insufficient number of license grants are available to meet the future calendared uses of the software application.

  • Patent number: 10965635
Abstract: Technical solutions are described to arbitrarily order and access email messages based on text analysis and social network analysis. One general aspect includes a system that includes an email server and an email client. The email server generates a topic map of email messages stored on the email server. The email server also generates a social map of users with accounts on the email server. The email server receives an email message from a first user, the email message directed to a second user. The email server sends the email message to a third user in response to determining that the email message is relevant to the third user. The present document further describes examples of other aspects such as methods, computer products.

  • Patent number: 10614129
Abstract: An application processing system for placing applications and their associated data into a colocation data center, wherein an application placement module is configured to perform the method of steps including: constructing a facility communication node graph; constructing a composite elastic map which represents the compute nodes in the colocation data center; associating a force function between two nodes based on communication bandwidth; constructing an application usage data space; inserting the node graph into the application data space; assigning the applications to the compute nodes; associating a force function between each application and each compute node based on the assignment; determining an elastic map energy (EME) for the elastic map, wherein the EME is the total energy of the system; and assigning the real-world applications to the real-world compute nodes in the data center if the EME is less than a threshold energy.

  • Patent number: 10360412
Abstract: A restricted access device such as a cellphone, a tablet or a personal computer, analyzes contemporaneous keyboard inputs of a password and gestures to authenticate the user and enable further access to applications and processes of the restricted access device. The gestures may be facial gestures detected by a camera or may be gestures made by an avatar rendered on a display of the device. The password may be shorted based upon the context of the authentication as well as any gestures occurring during password entry. The gestures may be learned by the restricted access device during the password entry process.
