  • Patent number: 10828764
Abstract: A multi-tool includes a keyshaped body, the keyshaped body having a key like shape and a standard key size. The keyshaped body includes a rounded end, the rounded end including a aperture for a key chain and a textured surface configured to provide grip to the hand of a user. The keyshaped body further includes a slim extending end, opposite the rounded end, the slim extending end including a tip, the tip having a wedge end, the wedge end shaped such that it functions as a screw driver, the slim end further included a left and right side, the left side having a grooved surface shaped such that it functions as file, the right side including a cutting surface and a lip, the lip providing for a bottle opener in conjunction with an aperture in which the cutting surface is located and using the keyshaped body as a lever arm.

  • Publication number: 20200100934
Abstract: A lightweight, portable, cost-effective skin-cooling device is adapted for use with a coolant spray in an existing canister having a rim surrounding a push-activated spray tube. The apparatus comprises a housing with an inlet end that snaps onto the existing canister, an outlet end with a skin-contacting component, and a pushbutton. A tubular structure, disposed within the housing, includes an inlet end configured to engage with the push-activated spray tube of the canister, and an outlet end directed toward the skin-contacting component supported over the outlet end of the housing. Depressing the pushbutton causes the inlet end of the tubular structure to depress the push-activated spray tube, thereby causing the coolant spray to be carried though the tubular and out the outlet end thereof to cool the skin-contacting component.

  • Patent number: 10166584
Abstract: Control of self-excited third octave vibration in a metal rolling mill can be achieved by adjusting the tension of the metal strip as it enters a stand. Self-excited third octave vibration can be detected and/or measured by one or more sensors. A high-speed tension adjustor can rapidly adjust the entry tension of the metal strip (e.g., as the metal strip enters a mill stand) to compensate for the detected self-excited third octave vibration. High-speed tension adjustors can include any combination of hydraulic or piezoelectric actuators coupled to the center roll of a bridle roll to rapidly raise or lower the roll and thus induce rapid tension adjustments in the strip. Other high-speed tension adjustors can be used.
