  • Patent number: 11688968
Abstract: A three-dimensional (3D) printed electrical connector includes an insert component, at least a first sealing member, and a shell. The insert component includes a body adapted for 3D printing. The body has first and second ends and includes a cavity penetrating the body along a longitudinal axis of the body. The first sealing member is associated with the insert component and is adapted for 3D printing. The shell at least partially encloses the insert component.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 16, 2020
Date of Patent: June 27, 2023
    Assignee: AMPHENOL CORPORATION

  • Patent number: 11117612
Abstract: Technical solutions are described for attenuating dither noise in a steering system. An example method includes computing multiple filter parameters, each filter parameter based on a corresponding signal in the steering system. The method further includes determining at least one final filter parameter from the plurality of filter parameters by arbitrating the plurality of filter parameters. The method further includes dynamically configuring a filter using the at least one final filter parameter. Further, the method includes filtering a motor torque command using the filter, a filtered motor torque command being applied to a motor to generate a corresponding amount of torque.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 9, 2018
Date of Patent: September 14, 2021
Assignee: Steering Solutions IP Holding Corporation
Inventors: Prerit Pramod, Michael Eickholt, Krishna MPK Namburi, Matthew A. Tompkins
  • Patent number: 10538269
Abstract: Technical solutions are described for estimating handwheel angle of a steering wheel of a vehicle based on road wheel rotational speed data. In one or more examples, the technical solutions are used when the vehicle does not have a sensor to measure the handwheel angle, or if the handwheel angle sensor is faulted and unable to provide data on the actual handwheel angle.

  • Patent number: 5645024
Abstract: A timing chain cover which is mounted to an engine block having an opening in general axial alignment with an exposed end of a camshaft. A cap is mounted to the cover and generally seated in the opening. The cap includes a hole in general axial alignment with the camshaft and an adjustable button is secured in the hole. One end of the button engages the camshaft to prevent cam walk and opposed end is accessible for adjustment without removal of the cover from the engine block.
