Abstract: A method for evaluating an interpretation for a search query is disclosed. The method includes receiving, by one or more processing circuits, a training dataset. The method includes training a first model utilizing the training dataset. The first model is trained to evaluate whether a human interpretation for a search query is correct. The method includes receiving a search query and a human interpretation for the search query. The method includes determining an initial evaluation of whether the human interpretation for the search query is correct utilizing the first model. The method includes generating a second model utilizing the initial evaluation from the first model, temporal features relating to the search query, and cluster features relating to the search query, and determining a final evaluation of whether the human interpretation for the search query is correct utilizing the second model.

  • Patent number: 11780610
Abstract: A system and method for acquiring accurate vibration data, time of arrival, or other mechanical state for a mechanical system with rotary elements, such as a planetary gear system with multiple planet gears that rotate relative to a central sun gear, or blades in a turbine engine. Multiple vibration sensors are arranged at spaced intervals along the exterior of the gear system (such as along the ring gear of the system or the exterior housing of the system). Each vibration sensor is so situated as to periodically detect vibrations from each one of the planet gears in succession, as the planet gears rotate around the central sun gear. Using timing and gear-system configuration information, a determination is made as to which gear is being sensed by any one sensor at any time; also determined is which teeth of each gear are being sensed by a particular sensor at any one time.

  • Publication number: 20230312212
Abstract: A holder assembly configured to hold a scoop within an inside of a container at a height above the level of a substance. The holder assembly comprises a first portion and a second portion. The first portion comprises a stem that may be provided with a height according to the geometry of the intended container. The second portion comprises a plurality of stems cooperatively configured and dimensioned to retain the scoop disposed in an inverted position. The segments are connected to the stem at a junction and should be disposed in a spaced apart relation to one another collectively defining a gap for the scoop wall(s). The segments should be movable away from the gap and comprise an inherent tendency to return to their natural position that generates a force that retains the scoop in place.

  • Patent number: 11776212
Abstract: The present invention is generally directed to anatomically conforming apparatuses, and the creation, design, and fitting of such apparatuses. In at least one embodiment, the present invention relates to masks that require a conformal fit to a user's face, including, but not limited to, respirator and breathing masks, oxygen masks for both civil and military pilots, ventilation masks used in hazardous environments, and the like. One or more methods for clustering facial scans to design a finite set of mass-producible masks is also described, such that each individual in a given population can be assigned at least one mask in the set of masks that is anatomically conforming to that individual's specific facial geometry. Also described are one or more methods for fitting a face mask to a specific individual based on a 3-D scan of that individual's face.

  • Patent number: 11775501
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide for trace and span sampling and analysis for instrumented software. Each span may be annotated with one or more tags that provide context about an executed task, such as a user instrumenting the software, a document involved in a request, an infrastructure element used in servicing a request, etc. A sampler may perform tail-based sampling of traces comprising spans. The sampler may select a portion of the traces having selected features and send them to an analyzer. The analyzer may receive the selected traces and determine whether the selected traces are indicative of configuration problems for the instrumented software. An alert may be generated based on identified configuration problems.

  • Patent number: 11771521
Abstract: An instrument device manipulator (IDM) is attached to a surgical arm of a robotic system and comprises a surgical tool holder and an outer housing. The surgical tool holder includes an attachment interface that can secure a surgical tool in a front-mount configuration (where the attachment interface is on a face opposite of a proximal extension of the surgical tool) or a back-mount configuration (where the attachment interface is on the same face as the proximal extension of the surgical tool). The surgical tool holder may rotate continuously within the outer housing. In a back-mount configuration, the surgical tool holder may have a passage that receives the proximal extension of the tool and allows free rotation of the proximal extension about the rotational axis. A surgical drape separates the IDM and robotic arm from a tool, while allowing electrical and/or optical signals to pass therebetween.

  • Publication number: 20230290518
Abstract: Proposed is an automated system providing an automatable long-term care risk mitigation structure associated with immediate care needs of risk-exposed individuals in case of becoming a long-term care-receiver. The system provides an automated multi-step trigger and detection cycle based on sensory measuring data for risk-exposed individuals thereby mitigating possibly occurring long-term care needs by means of the automated system based on a detected sufficient state of disability, possibly predetermined up-front amount parameters and an assigned care equity ratio associated with an asset. The state of disability of the risk-exposed individual is measurable by a definable set of risk-exposed individual measuring parameters.

  • Patent number: 11744402
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of a kamado-style cooker pizza oven conversion device are disclosed. Certain embodiments detachably mount within a kamado-styled cooker such that the lid of the cooker rests at an angle on the top of the device and thereby “closes off” and defines a cooking space within the interior that takes advantage of the pizza oven-like features of a kamado cooker. With an embodiment of the solution installed in a kamado cooker, an open doorway or window is defined for allowing a user to insert a pizza into the cooking space and place the pizza on a pizza stone held by the device. Embodiments allow for cooking to occur simultaneously via conductive, convective and radiant thermal energy transfer.

  • Patent number: 11739031
Abstract: A soil amendment is provided and a method for making the same, where the soil amendment is encasing biochar in a biodegradable material. The biochar encased in the biodegradable material may be either or both treated and untreated (raw) biochar. The biodegradable material encasing the biochar may be sealed to produce a packet or capsule, or deposited on a sheet of biodegradable material. The sheet of biodegradable material may include a biodegradable adhesive, creating a biochar tape on the biodegradable material. In another example the biodegradable material may be immersed in a solution containing biochar to create a soil amendment, for example, to wrap a root ball of a seedling or sapling. The biodegradable material may, for example, be a polymer, wax, oil, or paraffin which is used to create a bead, capsule, or pod of biochar or biochar slurry, or may be a fiber based or polymer based material that can be formed into a shape, such as a liner, container, or a disc.

  • Publication number: 20230267544
Abstract: A regularization-based (RB) hedging tool identifies a recommended hedging portfolio that track a target asset and provides one or metrics indicating a predicted performance of the hedging portfolio relative to the target asset. The RB hedging tool uses a RB hedging model that is trained on price data from an observation period. Initial hyperparameters for the model are selected using asset price data from a validation period and the performance of the model is evaluated by applying it to asset price data from a backtest period. The end-user is presented with one or more metrics indicating the performance of the model and may modify one or more settings (e.g., hyperparameters) of the model. The model is retrained and reapplied to the backtest period, and the metrics are updated. Thus, end-users may tailor the model to their own particular needs and preferences.
