Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for singulating or separating insects from a collection of insects are described. In some embodiments, an insect singulating device includes a funnel having a first opening and a second opening, wherein the first opening is larger than the second opening and is configured to receive one or more organisms of the collection of organisms, and a roller assembly positioned proximate to the second opening of the funnel, wherein the roller assembly includes a first roller and second roller that are spaced apart to define an organism movement path between the first roller and the second roller.
