  • Publication number: 20220303104
Abstract: A wireless access point device is full-duplex capable and serves wireless communication for at least first and second wireless client devices. The wireless access point device sends to the first wireless client device a trigger frame that causes the first wireless client device to send an uplink transmission to the wireless access point after a first time interval. The wireless access point device waits a second time interval after the first wireless client is expected to begin sending the uplink transmission. The wireless access point device receives the uplink transmission from the first wireless client device. After the second time interval, and while receiving the uplink transmission from the first wireless client device, the wireless access point device sends to the second wireless client device a downlink transmission that overlaps at least partially in frequency and time with the uplink transmission from the first wireless client device.

  • Publication number: 20220303790
Abstract: Optimal determination of wireless antenna configurations may be provided. A computing device may direct an antenna array of an Access Point (AP) to generate a wide beamwidth, to locate a cluster of two or more stations. Upon locating the cluster, the AP can narrow the beamwidth, and, with the narrower beamwidth, receive a key performance indicator (KPI) from at least one of the two or more stations in the cluster. The computing device may then generate a statistical model, based on the KPI and an antenna vector of the antenna array. Based on the statistical model, the computing device can determine a second antenna vector to optimize the KPI for one or more of the client stations. The computing device can then modify the antenna state of the AP to generate the determined antenna vector.

  • Patent number: 11439390
Abstract: Locking assemblies for surgical clamping and cutting instruments include a locking member and a switch. A drive member may be configured to releasably engage a knife and/or a shuttle of the surgical instrument for translating the knife and/or shuttle in a distal direction through a firing stroke. The locking member is movable from a first position permitting distal translation of the drive member through the firing stroke, and a second position inhibiting distal translation of the drive member through the firing stroke. A switch, when proximally positioned, releasably engages the locking member to maintain the locking member in the first position. The switch disengages from the locking member when the switch is moved to a distal position.

  • Publication number: 20220254372
Abstract: A data storage device (DSD) includes a base-deck, a disc above the base-deck, and a shaft extending perpendicular from the base-deck. The DSD also includes a head stack assembly (HSA) including a head gimbal assembly having a load beam and a head at a first end of the HSA. The head interacts with a surface of the disc. The HSA also includes a second end movably mounted on the shaft. The DSD additionally includes an elevator that linearly moves the HSA along the shaft to adjust a distance between the load beam and the surface of the disc in response to receiving a feedback signal associated with the interaction of the head with the surface of the disc. The feedback signal is one of a plurality of feedback signals employed by the elevator to adjust the distance between the load beam and the surface of the disc.

  • Patent number: 11412476
Abstract: Offloading of location computation from a location server to an access point through the use of projections on base phase vectors may be provided. First, an Access Point (AP) may receive a set of two or more base phase vectors from a location server. Next, the AP may measure a measured phase vector for a first signal from a user device. Then, the AP can determine projection values based on a comparison of the measured phase vector to each base phase vector. From these comparisons, the AP can determine a subset of base phase vectors with the highest projection values. The AP can then send the projection values and the subset of base phase vectors to the location server, wherein the location server determines the device location from these projection values and subset of base phase vectors.

  • Publication number: 20220225217
Abstract: Optimal determination of a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) sounding method and system may be provided. An Access Point (AP) selects a subchannel for the partial sounding. The AP then sounds the selected subchannel. A client station responds with Channel State Information (CSI). The AP can receive the CSI, from the client station, in response to the sounding. Based on the CSI from the selected subchannel, the AP extrapolates the CSI to determine predicted CSI for a wider bandwidth channel.

  • Patent number: 11375289
Abstract: A method of displaying media content through a display of a communication device including a processor, a memory having program code, and an operating system. A broadcast receiver configured to receive system broadcasts is registered with the operating system. A first system broadcast is generated by the operating system and is received. The first system broadcast indicates a first user interface element has been selected. A View container created in the memory includes the media content. The View container is painted on the display to thereby render the media content on the display. A second system broadcast is generated by the operating system is received. The second system broadcast indicates the first user interface element has been again selected. The View container is then removed from the memory, thereby terminating rendering of the media content on the display.

  • Patent number: 11368236
Abstract: A wireless node in a wireless communication network. The wireless node includes one or more interfaces configured to receive wireless transmissions, a memory comprising instructions, and a hardware processor. The wireless node samples a received wireless transmission into a plurality of time-based subdivisions for each subdivision of the wireless transmission the wireless node determines a cross-correlation between the subdivision and a local syncword. The local syncword is constructed to correlate to any primary synchronization signal, PSS, of a plurality of PSSs defined for synchronization in the wireless network. The wireless node, based on the cross-correlation, determines whether one PSS of the plurality of PSSs is present in the subdivision of the wireless transmission.
