  • Patent number: 11887386
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, non-transitory computer-readable media, and methods for intelligently identifying upload trigger events and/or storage trigger events to selectively store a media recording portion at an in-cabin media capture device and/or transmit the media recording portion to a remote server. For example, utilizing a trigger analysis model, the disclosed systems can analyze transportation service data such as motion data, global position system (GPS) data, audio data, digital incident reports from provider/requestor devices, etc. to identify certain trigger events. These trigger events may include, for instance, a collision event, a transportation irregularity, a confrontation event, provider/requestor media recording requests, among others.

  • Publication number: 20240003694
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, non-transitory computer readable media, and methods for detecting and providing a digital notification of whether a ridership error exists. For instance, a ridership error detection system identifies a transportation match between a requestor device and a provider device. The ridership error detection system determines one or more sets of provider-requestor consistency signals from the requestor device and the provider device across ride stages. For instance, the ridership error detection system analyzes location signals, IMU signals, audio signals, local wireless signals indicating distances between the requestor device and the provider device, and other signals to determine whether a ridership error exists. The ridership error detection system provides digital notifications to the provider device and the requestor device based on the ridership error determination.

  • Publication number: 20230195816
Abstract: Methods, systems, and non-transitory computer readable storage media are disclosed for generating region-based metrics for provider devices based on movement of provider devices through various regions and transportation requests within the various regions. For example, the disclosed system provides an accumulating regional metric map including one or more regions with pins indicating corresponding region-based metrics to a provider device. The disclosed system can then determine whether the provider device passes through (or otherwise enters) a region with a pin and determine the corresponding region-based metric of the region for the provider device. In response to generating a transportation match between the provider device and a requester device, the disclosed system can provide a notification of the region-based metric to the provider device in connection with the transportation match.
