  • Publication number: 20230306395
Abstract: Introduced here is a technology for automatic notification of an invoice based on identification of a customer identifier included in transaction data received from a point-of-sale (POS) device of a particular merchant. Transaction data for a transaction occurring at the merchant POS device between a customer and the first merchant can be transmitted from the POS device to server(s) of a payment processing service. The transaction data can include a customer identifier. The POS device can receive invoice data from the server(s) associated with an unpaid invoice that is associated with the customer identifier and a historical transaction with the first merchant or a second merchant. The POS device can cause presentation, on a display of the POS device, an invoice payment invitation for the customer to make a payment on the unpaid invoice.

  • Patent number: 11761770
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, non-transitory computer readable media, and methods for detecting and providing a digital notification of whether a ridership error exists. For instance, a ridership error detection system identifies a transportation match between a requestor device and a provider device. The ridership error detection system determines one or more sets of provider-requestor consistency signals from the requestor device and the provider device across ride stages. For instance, the ridership error detection system analyzes location signals, IMU signals, audio signals, local wireless signals indicating distances between the requestor device and the provider device, and other signals to determine whether a ridership error exists. The ridership error detection system provides digital notifications to the provider device and the requestor device based on the ridership error determination.

  • Publication number: 20230281225
Abstract: Various embodiments of an apparatus, methods, systems and computer program products described herein are directed to a Topic Engine. The Topic Engine captures a plurality of content identifier sequences. Each respective sequence represents an order at which a corresponding user account accessed content. The Topic Engine generates a plurality of clusters. Each cluster is associated with respective content identifiers appearing within a proximity to each other across the plurality of content identifier sequences of different user accounts. The Topic Engine obtains one or more sample content identifiers from at least one cluster via sampling the cluster. The Topic Engine extracts keywords from content represented by the one or more sampled content identifiers. The Topic Engine identifies a topic for the cluster based on the one or more extracted keywords.

  • Patent number: 11713158
Abstract: A reusable pour spout system that may be attached to different container types to dispense different substances, including course and fine granular materials and liquids. A port component has a proximal tubular end and a flange that is larger than the tubular end. The flange further includes a hole-cutting structure adapted to pierce the wall of a container, with a cutting edge adapted to form a hole in the container when the port component is rotated by a user after piercing. This positions the flange within the container with the tubular end exposed to receive a nut that traps the wall of the container between the nut and the flange. A cap is provided to seal off the port. The tubular end of the port component, the nut, and the cap may all be threaded. Different structures to enhance cutting and sealing are disclosed along with preferred method steps.

  • Patent number: 11703184
Abstract: A gas and liquid separation system could be said to have a passage with an inlet connected to receive a mixed gas and liquid flow. An air separation tube extends into the passage at a location downstream of where the inlet is connected with an upstream tube end upstream in the passage relative to a downstream tube end. The upstream tube end provides an obstruction to the mixed gas and liquid flow, to cause separation of the gas from the mixed gas and liquid flow. A liquid tube is connected to the passage at a location downstream of the air separation tube.

  • Patent number: 11704640
Abstract: Introduced here is a technology for automatic notification of an invoice for a customer based on identification of a customer identifier included in transaction data received from a point-of-sale (POS) system of a particular merchant (“the invoice technology”). The notification can include a promotion to provide an incentive to the customer to pay the invoice. The notification can be presented on a display of the POS system. Alternatively, the notification can be presented in a receipt for the transaction conducted at the POS system, where that receipt can be transmitted for display at a user device of the customer. For example, the receipt can be in the form of an email message or a text message. Upon notification of the invoice, the customer can submit a payment for that invoice (“invoice payment”) in exchange for the promotion.

  • Patent number: 11692375
Abstract: A distributed safety lockout system for a vehicle, such as a recreational vehicle (RV), that includes a plurality of networked devices communicatively coupled via a communications network, and that is configured to implement a method for controlling an electromechanical operation of an electromechanical device based on a safety lockout condition determined through use of a consensus protocol in which a safety lockout status is agreed upon by the networked devices. The safety lockout status may be escalated by a safety lockout condition detection device that detects a safety lockout condition, such as movement of the RV. The safety lockout status may be de-escalated through a network contention mode of the consensus protocol in which each of the networked devices agree to de-escalate the safety lockout status.

  • Publication number: 20230195816
Abstract: Methods, systems, and non-transitory computer readable storage media are disclosed for generating region-based metrics for provider devices based on movement of provider devices through various regions and transportation requests within the various regions. For example, the disclosed system provides an accumulating regional metric map including one or more regions with pins indicating corresponding region-based metrics to a provider device. The disclosed system can then determine whether the provider device passes through (or otherwise enters) a region with a pin and determine the corresponding region-based metric of the region for the provider device. In response to generating a transportation match between the provider device and a requester device, the disclosed system can provide a notification of the region-based metric to the provider device in connection with the transportation match.

  • Patent number: 11674622
Abstract: Techniques for implementing a pipeline system including a pipe fitting, which includes a fitting shell that define a fitting bore and a tubing cavity around the fitting bore. The tubing cavity interfaces with pipe segment tubing to facilitate fluidly coupling the fitting bore to a pipe bore. The fitting shell includes a seal groove that is recessed into a fitting shell surface that facilitates defining the tubing cavity. The pipe fitting includes a belt seal having a multisided axial cross-section profile, in which the belt seal is to be disposed in the seal groove to implement a fitting seal in the pipe fitting that includes a protruding portion having a wedge-shaped axial cross-section profile that protrudes beyond the fitting shell surface into the tubing cavity to facilitate sealing a fluid conduit implemented in an annulus of the pipe segment tubing in the tubing cavity of the pipe fitting.
