  • Publication number: 20240268362
Abstract: One variation of a method for producing a target compound includes: during an initial period, genetically modifying a population of insects to produce a target compound; during a growth period succeeding the initial period, cultivating the population of insects; during a treatment period succeeding the growth period, applying a dosage of a stressor to the population of insects, the stressor configured to trigger production of the target compound; in response to a proportion of the target compound within the population of insects exceeding a threshold proportion, harvesting the population of insects; homogenizing the population of insects to form a blend comprising the proportion of the target compound and a second proportion of a set of secondary components; and separating the proportion of the target compound from the second proportion of the set of secondary components for extraction of the proportion of the target compound from the blend.

  • Patent number: 12058389
Abstract: Dynamic transcoding can be used to provide supplemental content, selected to be played during breaks in a stream of primary content, that has the same format as the primary content. It can be desirable to provide supplemental content that is personalized. This may include additional content or advertising that may be of interest or relevance to a viewer. In many instances, the supplemental content will come from a different source and thus can be in a different format. Approaches in accordance with various embodiments can take advantage of dynamic transcoding of the supplemental content to provide properly formatted supplemental content through the same stream as the primary content. A custom manifest can be provided to the media player that points to the transcoded supplemental content. At an appropriate break in the playback, the media player can use the manifest to obtain the formatted supplemental content.

  • Publication number: 20240241266
Abstract: A receiver system is disclosed. The receiver system may include an omnidirectional receiver configured to receive an incoming signal, a directional receiver configured to receive the incoming signal, and an integrity controller. The integrity controller may be configured to determine an integrity of the incoming signal by synchronizing a clock of the omnidirectional receiver and a clock of the directional receiver, receiving an omnidirectional signal of the incoming signal, receiving a directional signal of the incoming signal, translating between a phase of the omnidirectional signal and a phase of the directional signal based on the synchronizing, ensuring a signal equivalency based on the translating, calculating an angle of arrival of the incoming signal based on carrier phase differences associated with the directional signal, and identifying the incoming signal as a trusted satellite signal based on a comparison of the angle of arrival with an expected angle of arrival.

  • Publication number: 20240142602
Abstract: A method, system, and computer readable medium for performing a generalized angle-based tracker for a target determines angle-based information from a target signal, and initializes a Stationary Surface Filter (SSF), a Moving Surface Filter (MSF), and a Pseudorange Kalman Filter (PKF) with the angle-based information. Next, the SSF and MSF are scored by the PKF. If the information is associated, then the SSF, MSF, and PKF are updated. It is determined if at least one plausible Constituent Kalman Filter (CKF) exists for the SSF and MSF. If at least one CKF exists for the SSF and no CKF exists for the MSF, then the target is stationary surface; if at least one CKF exists for the MSF and no CKF exists for the SSF, then the target is moving surface; if no CKF exists for both the SSF and the MSF, then the target is moving airborne.

  • Publication number: 20240121274
Abstract: Methods and systems are also described for an integrated cyber incident management system that may store native data corresponding to fields of cyber incident management system (or other non-integrated systems) and integration data (e.g., viewable through a user interface of the integrated cyber incident management system), which describes a relationship of the native data to the integrated cyber incident management system, at a structure node in the architecture of the integrated cyber incident management system. The structure node may correspond to the convergence of two structures in the architecture of the integrated cyber incident management system. Each structure may itself correspond to a native hierarchal relationship in a non-integrated cyber incident management system.

  • Patent number: 11909664
Abstract: A segment identifier (SID) manager interfaces with clients by way of a library. Clients implementing network services and needing SIDs according to internet SRv6, are allocated blocks by the SID manager using the library. Clients assign SIDs from the block independent of the SID manager using the library. Where a threshold portion of the block is assigned, the library requests an additional block of SIDs from the SID manager. Clients transmit context mappings of assigned SIDs to the SID manager for use by administrators and to enable recovery in the event of failure.

  • Publication number: 20230315806
Abstract: A method of recognizing a pattern in a signal is provided. The method includes receiving, by a processor and at an input, the signal comprising data; converting, by the processor and based on a plurality of features, the data from the signal into a collection of features; identifying, by the processor, one or more feature-to-feature transitions between features in the collection of features; plotting, by the processor, a directed graph of each of the feature-to-feature transitions, wherein each unique feature in the collection of features is represented by a single vertex and each feature-to-feature transition is represented by a directed edge between two vertices weighted by a corresponding number of each of the feature-to-feature transitions; and detecting, by the processor, a pattern in the data by comparing the weight of each of the feature-to-feature transitions in the directed graph to a user-defined threshold.

  • Patent number: 11767169
Abstract: Warehouse automation and methods of controlling material flow can be used to enhance the efficiencies of warehouse operations. For example, automation systems and methods can be used to efficiently optimize the storage density of items in warehouses. In some examples, warehouse workers are automatically provided with instructions for how to assemble pallet loads of incoming items to a height that is determined based on the goal of fully utilizing open warehouse storage rack spaces. In some examples, a plan for optimizing the build-height of pallet loads of an incoming shipment is determined in advance of receiving the shipment.
