  • Publication number: 20180239781
Abstract: Techniques for obtaining geographically-relevant product inventory information, in real-time, from heterogeneous data sources are described. Product inventory information, including the volume of available products in specific geographical locations, is obtained from at least three different sources. First, one or more data feeds may be received. Second, a data obtaining module uses one or more APIs to obtain product inventory information from one or more third-party inventory management systems. Finally, a structured data mining module uses a web crawler, at the direction of a crawler configuration, to systematically obtain product inventory information from various third-party websites. Accordingly, a user's search query is processed to provide geographically relevant product inventory information in near real time.

  • Publication number: 20120189978
Abstract: A two-part, modular dental handpiece cable connector system that provides a convenient method for fast field replacement of worn or defective handpiece cables without disassembling the dental device. The two parts include a female connector element that mounts within the device housing and a male connector element to attach the cable. The female connector is further defined into two categories: snap-in mounting for enclosed, confined space cabinets and threaded panel mounting for universal attachment.

  • Publication number: 20060160046
Abstract: A dental apparatus provides a substantially uniform concentration of abrasive material entrained in a pressurized gas to a desired location substantially irrespective the amount of abrasive material in a pressurized container of the apparatus, and resists clogging by the abrasive material. The apparatus includes a control unit having a container that secures the abrasive material, the abrasive material in the container becoming entrained in pressurized gas received from a dental unit. The concentration of the mixture of entrained abrasive material in pressurized gas is maintained by upwardly directing the flow of the mixture in a first conduit against a cap, a portion of the entrained abrasive material returning to the container, with the regulated mixture of entrained abrasive material in pressurized gas being delivered through a hand piece to the desired location.
