  • Publication number: 20240121126
Abstract: Digital bridging of field devices to an industrial network using an Ethernet Advanced Physical Layer (Ethernet-APL) bridge device. The APL bridge device includes analog interfaces for current-driven and voltage-driven measurement devices and an Intrinsically Safe (IS) APL connection providing power to the bridge device and the measurement devices. The bridge device enables gateway functionality between field device protocols and industrial network protocols.

  • Patent number: 11920217
Abstract: A titanium alloy for additive manufacturing that includes 5.5 to 6.5 wt % aluminum (Al); 3.0 to 4.5 wt % vanadium (V); 1.0 to 2.0 wt % molybdenum (Mo); 0.3 to 1.5 wt % iron (Fe); 0.3 to 1.5 wt % chromium (Cr); 0.05 to 0.5 wt % zirconium (Zr); 0.2 to 0.3 wt % oxygen (O); maximum of 0.05 wt % nitrogen (N); maximum of 0.08 wt % carbon (C); maximum of 0.25 wt % silicon (Si); and balance titanium, wherein a value of an aluminum structural equivalent [Al]eq ranges from 7.5 to 9.5 wt %, and is defined by the following equation: [Al]eq=[Al]+[O]×10+[Zr]/6, and wherein a value of a molybdenum structural equivalent [Mo]eq ranges from 6.0 to 8.5 wt %, and is defined by the following equation: [Mo]eq=[Mo]+[V]/1.5+[Cr]×1.25+[Fe]×2.5.

  • Patent number: 10247850
Abstract: A laser seismometer may measure the change in a phase modulated optical signal. Unlike traditional interferometers, the laser phase is first modulated by a radio frequency (RF) source, which is then demodulated following detection to provide the signal of interest. The net result is a direct measurement of displacement with the effects of amplitude noise eliminated via limiting and the effects of 1/f phase noise (frequency drift, etc.) eliminated by self-interfering the signal. Because the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of the optical signal is strong, the technique provides a strong measure of the displacement and avoids the extremely low voltages and associated problems of traditional sensors.

  • Publication number: 20140074689
Abstract: Aspects of the present invention include methods and systems useful for modifying a consumer's credit data. This can be achieved by receiving and analyzing consumer data and a credit goal of the consumer. A simulation can be performed, simulating one or more changes to tradeline data of the consumer and determining if the simulation achieves the at least one credit goal of the consumer. If so, an action plan can be generated, including one or more steps for the consumer to carry out to achieve the at least one credit goal. Credit tradeline data of the consumer can be monitored, and from the observed data, it can be determined if the at least one credit goal has been achieved. If so, aspects of the invention can include notifying a lender that the at least one goal has been achieved.

  • Patent number: 8348357
Abstract: A cabinet is fitted with a locking assembly suited for simultaneously locking or unlocking all of the drawers retained within the cabinet assembly. The locking assembly includes a primary actuation assembly, accessible from the exterior of the cabinet which engages a secondary actuation assembly. The secondary actuation assembly defines a plurality of lip elements which are displaceable intermediate the glide assembly which is associated with each drawer of the cabinet. In a closed, locked condition the lip elements are displaced in front of the glide elements thereby forming an obstacle to the lateral displacement of the glide assembly thereby precluding the outward withdrawal of the drawer from its retained position within the cabinet. In an open position, the lip elements are displaced to a position outside of the travel path of the glide assembly whereby they do not impede the operation of those glide assemblies.
