  • Publication number: 20240000359
Abstract: A method of reducing error in magnetoencephalography arising from the presence of a non-neuromagnetic field. The method comprises measuring, using a sensor array for measuring neuromagnetic fields, magnetic field at a plurality of discrete locations around a subject's head to provide sensor data; wherein the magnetic field measured at at least some of the locations includes a neuromagnetic field from a source of interest within a subject's brain and a non-neuromagnetic field from a source of no interest external to the brain. The measuring comprises: measuring, at at least a first subset of the locations, a magnetic field along a first direction relative to a radial axis intersecting the respective location, and measuring, at at least a second subset of the locations, a magnetic field along a second direction relative to a radial axis intersecting the respective location which is different to the first direction; and performing source reconstruction using the sensor data.

  • Patent number: 11549600
Abstract: A rotary turbine bypass valve comprises a valve chamber and a valve rotor. The chamber is positioned at a junction of an inlet port, an outlet port and a bypass port. The inlet port is configured to receive exhaust gas, the outlet port is configured to fluidly communicate with a turbine inlet, and the bypass port is configured to fluidly communicate with an exhaust aftertreatment device. The rotor comprises a first and second recess, the first recess defining a primary flow passage, the second recess defining a secondary flow passage. The rotor is rotatable between a first position in which the rotor substantially blocks exhaust gas flow through the bypass port and a second position in which the rotor permits such. The secondary flow passage is configured to selectively permit fluid communication between the inlet port and the bypass port when the primary flow passage is partially blocked.

  • Patent number: 9462132
Abstract: Methods and systems for creating mobile conference rooms for conference calls between client devices and one or more contacts are described herein. A server receives, from the client device, a request to create a mobile conference room. The server creates the mobile conference room by assigning a phone number to the mobile conference room. After notifying the client device, the server receives data regarding one or more contacts to add to the mobile conference room. The server receives, from the client device, a request to initiate a conference call with a subset of contacts. A call is received, from the server, concurrently by each of the subset of contacts. The server bridges the client device and the contacts that have answered the call on the conference call.
