  • Patent number: 11948786
Abstract: A night vision system, a microchannel plate (MCP), and a planetary deposition system and methodology are provided for selectively depositing an electrode contact metal on one side of MCP channel openings. One or more MCPs can be releasably secured to a face of a platter that rotates about its central platter axis. The rotating platter can be tilted on a rotating ring fixture surrounding an evaporative source of contact metal. Therefore, the rotating platter further rotates so that it orbits around the evaporative source of contact metal. A mask with a variable size mask opening is arranged between the rotating platter and the evaporative source. While the mask orbits around the evaporative source with the rotating platter, the mask does not rotate along its own axis as does the rotating platter.

  • Publication number: 20240084667
Abstract: A technique facilitates operation of a slip assembly, e.g. a frac plug assembly, having a plurality of slips. The plurality of slips may selectively be forced in a radially outward direction via, for example, a cone so as to set the slips against a surrounding casing or other tubing. The slip assembly further comprises a mechanism which allows different amounts of radial movement of individuals slips to ensure sufficient setting of the individual slips when the surrounding tubing is oval or otherwise out of round.

  • Patent number: 11928526
Abstract: Techniques for standardizing a catalog of data and for using the standardized data to implement various APIs are disclosed. Non-standardized data is received. This data includes information describing items, customer information, and unstructured review data. The non-standardized data is converted to a standardized format, resulting in the generation of standardized data. The standardized data includes a hierarchy of defined categories. Each category is associated with a set of attribute types. The standardized data also includes anonymized profiles. The unstructured review data is also provided structure. A data model is generated based on the standardized data. Various APIs can then use the data model to perform operations.

  • Patent number: 11852753
Abstract: A sensor (e.g., an optical sensor) is disposed in an enclosure that separates it from an external environment. The enclosure includes an aperture comprising a transparent material. A laminate comprising a plurality of transparent films is coupled to the aperture such that the sensor has a field of view of the external environment through the transparent material of the aperture and the plurality of transparent films. The laminate includes an exposed transparent film that is exposed to the external environment and that is removable to expose an underlying film in the laminate when dirt, debris, or other obscuring material has collected on it. A laminate module that includes the laminate, a laminate sensor, and a peeling mechanism may be removably mounted on the aperture. The laminate sensor can sense the number of transparent films remaining in the laminate. The peeling mechanism can peel away individual transparent films in the laminate.

  • Patent number: 11055371
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to using smart data filters to create multi-threaded profiles. A computing platform may generate a multi-threaded profile corresponding to a user. Thereafter, the computing platform may receive, via the communication interface and from a user device, external event information corresponding to the multi-threaded profile. Then, the computing platform may determine, based on the external event information, a filter bank corresponding to a first thread of the multi-threaded profile. Subsequently, the computing platform may determine, based on the external event information and the filter bank, a time to live parameter corresponding to the external event information. Next, the computing platform may retrieve, from a multi-threaded profile server and based on the multi-threaded profile and the filter bank, first thread information corresponding to the first thread of the multi-threaded profile.

  • Patent number: 10838798
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to error resolution processing systems with improved error prediction features and enhanced resolution techniques. A computing platform may receive error log files identifying error codes corresponding to error occurrences on one or more different virtual machine host platforms. The computing platform may aggregate the error codes corresponding to the error occurrences to generate an error lattice. Using the error lattice, the computing platform may predict an error outcome. Based on the predicted error outcome, the computing platform may determine a system configuration update to be applied to the one or more virtual machine host platforms. The computing platform may direct a dynamic resource management computing platform to distribute relevant portions of the system configuration update to each of the one or more virtual machine host platforms. This may cause the one or more virtual machine host platforms to implement the system configuration update.

  • Patent number: 10540947
Abstract: Embodiments of a capo and fretting component are described. In certain embodiments, the fretting component is threaded onto a crossbar configured to overlie the instrument strings when in use and to pivot with respect to the crossbar so as to contact and press the strings against a fret on the instrument neck. The fretting component is offset with respect to the attachment mechanism of the capo, allowing the attachment mechanism to be offset on the neck of the instrument from where it would normally be positioned to achieve a comparable fretting effect.

  • Patent number: 10093283
Abstract: A system and method of collecting and conditioning rainwater and other moisture, such as dew, from a windshield of a vehicle and utilizing the collected fluid to replenish the fluids in the windshield washer reservoir. A collection funnel is positioned on a vehicle in order to collect rainwater and other moisture. Rainwater and other fluids from the collection funnel are directed to a conditioning chamber where the water is treated with a concentrate and filtered. The treated fluid is then directed to a pre-existing windshield washer reservoir.

  • Patent number: 9906090
Abstract: A magnetic drive assembly includes a housing having a cylindrical end bell portion and a cylindrical hub portion adjacent the end bell portion, wherein the radius of the hub portion is greater than the radius of the end bell portion. One or more mounting tabs extend radially outward from the hub portion. The housing has heat transfer fins associated with the mounting tabs for dissipating heat and structurally supporting the mounting tabs in the manner of a gusset. The heat transfer fins may be arranged on opposite sides of each mounting tab to provide support for the mounting tab in opposite axial directions of the housing. To relieve internal pressure, the housing may have at least one pressure equalization vent allowing passage of gas but not passage of liquid into and out of the housing.
