  • Patent number: 11974740
Abstract: An applicator instrument for dispensing surgical fasteners includes a housing, an elongated shaft, surgical fasteners disposed in the elongated shaft, a firing system for dispensing the surgical fasteners, a firing rod disposed within the elongated shaft and movable within a first plane, and an advancer disposed within the elongated shaft and moveable within a second plane. An actuator is coupled with the advancer for moving the advancer back and forth between retracted and extended positions. A staging assembly at the distal end of the elongated shaft aligns a leading surgical fastener with the first plane. The staging assembly includes a biasing device that is configured to be deflected away from the first plane by the advancer when the advancer is in the extended position and the staging assembly is configured to spring back into alignment with the first plane when the advancer returns back to the retracted position.

  • Patent number: 11569921
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide methods and systems to capture, persist, and access a real-time audio stream and metadata associated with a radio broadcast. The real-time audio stream is captured on an audio capture device comprising a real-time clock. The audio is associated with the points in time it is captured with time markers. In embodiments, the audio is encoded for transmission with the time markers to a remote server. After being captured, encoded, and associated with time markers, the audio is transmitted to a remote server for archiving. Client devices are used to provide access to archived content. Clients request portions of the real-time audio stream from the remote server, and identify the portions they are requesting by including in their request either real-time bounds, or other information which is associated on the remote server with real-time bounds, such as content descriptor types.

  • Publication number: 20180354040
Abstract: A quick-release adaptor for a tool for a torque limiter is provided. The quick-release adaptor has a housing having a first opening at a first end and a second opening at a second end. The first opening engages a drive shaft of the torque limiter to axially and rotationally connect the drive shaft to the housing. The second opening receives the tool. A groove is provided on an exterior of the housing between the first end and the second end. At least one through hole extends through the groove and into an interior of the housing. A ball bearing is seated within the through hole. A spring clamp is provided in the groove and extends over the ball bearing to exert a radially inward force on the ball bearing to seat the tool.

  • Publication number: 20180297184
Abstract: A torque limiter assembly is provided and has a fixed torque member having a plurality of first retainers, a floating torque member having a plurality of second retainers, a plurality of torque transfer members between the first torque member and the floating torque member, and a shaft. A plurality of longitudinal transfer members are provided between the floating torque member and the shaft. The longitudinal transfer members rotationally fix the floating torque member to the shaft, but allow axial movement of the floating torque member. A spring member provides a force on the floating torque member to, at times, rotationally fix the floating torque member to the fixed torque member. A locking mechanism is used to adjust the force of the spring member on the floating torque member.
