Abstract: Isometric exercise devices including a force input member, an elongate tension bearing member, and a body interface member. The force input member is configured to be pushed or pulled by a user. The elongate tension bearing member develops tension when the user pushes or pulls the force input member and the body interface member is restricted from moving by abutting the user. The elongate tension bearing member operatively couples to the force input member. The body interface member is configured to abut the user. The body interface member operatively couples to the elongate tension hearing member. In some examples, the isometric exercise devices include a frame and/or a strain gauge. The strain gauge may couple to the elongate tension hearing member and be configured to detect tension developed in the elongate tension bearing member.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a system for user adjustable optical field of view alteration. The system includes a support member, an optical system, and an adjustment system. The support member releasably secures the system to a user's face, including a frame over the user's nose and two temples extending back from the frame over the user's ears. The optical system is positioned on the frame substantially in front of the user's eyes. The optical system displays an altered field of view to the user's eyes that is different that the direct field of view seen by the user. The adjustment system adjusts the altered field of view by rotating a portion of the optical system with respect to the support member about an axis of rotation.

Abstract: A method, system and device for visually spatial caller identification includes a caller identification visual alerting device configured to capture current caller identification information from an incoming call. A stored caller identification list stores a plurality of entries of reference caller identification information and a corresponding respective plurality of entries of spatial visual indicator patterns. The reference caller identification information is matched with the current caller identification information. The caller identification visual alerting device further includes a spatial visual indicator configured to activate a plurality of illuminatable elements according to one of the plurality of spatial visual indicator patterns.

Abstract: A method and system for automatic camera configuration, upon establishment of a communication session is described. A number is entered into a video phone and a first segment of a communication session is established between the video phone and a service system. The service system retrieves and stores a current default pan, tilt, zoom (PTZ) setting from the video phone camera. The service system transmits the video phone's corresponding camera PTZ preset settings and the video phone configures the camera according to the preset. Upon termination of the communication session, the VRS transmits the default PTZ setting to video phone and the video phone reconfigures the camera according to the original camera setting.

Abstract: A method, device and video phone for controlling an interface of a device through motion gestures includes entering a command mode when a motion gesture corresponding to a request to enter the command mode is detected in a first video segment. The method further includes executing at least one interface command corresponding to at least one other motion gesture as detected in a second video segment. The device includes an interface including standby and command modes through which a user controls the communication device. The communication device further includes a user motion gesture detector configured to identify motion gestures of a user and direct the interface to transition from standby mode to command mode when the motion gestures in a first video segment correspond to a request to enter the command mode.

Abstract: A method, graphical interface and computer-readable medium for forming a batch job includes selecting at least one input file to reformat in the batch job. A batch job tree is formed for constructing a batch job with each of the input files being associated to a corresponding branch of the batch job tree. At least one reformatting process is associated with each of the input files on each branch of the batch job tree. A graphical interface for configuring a batch job includes a first interface pane for displaying and enabling selection of at least one input file, a second interface pane configured for interactively configuring a batch job tree representative of the batch job, and a third interface pane for associating at least one reformatting process to each input file.

Abstract: A method, graphical interface and computer-readable medium for reformatting data including selecting at least one input file graphical element from a first pane corresponding to at least one input file to reformat. A reformatting batch job is created and is depicted in a second pane as a reformatting batch job graphical element when the at least one input file graphical element is selected in the first pane. At least one reformatting process is associated to the at least one input file in the reformatting batch job from a third pane. The reformatting batch job is executed with the at least one reformatting process being performed on the at least one input file.

Abstract: A method, graphical interface and computer-readable medium for generating a preview of a reformatted preview segment of a selected input file. A review pane is displayed in a single window and includes preview controls including a file timeline indicator configured to graphically depict a length of a selected input file. Preview in and out markers are displayed and configured to define a preview segment of the selected input file. The preview segment is reformatted into a reformatted preview segment according to the reformatting process associated with the selected input file. The reformatted preview segment is displayed in the preview pane.

Abstract: A videoconferencing system couples to a network for providing videoconferencing services to a user. The videoconferencing session is controlled and initiated by a user in a manner consistent with establishing a conventional audio-only session. In one embodiment, an independently-operable voice-only telephone handset couples to an audio and video communication device. The videoconferencing session is established by taking the telephone handset to an off-hook status and entering a dialed phone number sequence. The audio and video communication device retrieves a network address corresponding to the dialed phone number sequence and initiates a call sequence corresponding to the retrieved network address until the telephone handset goes into an on-hook status. The audio and video communication device further includes video interfaces for presenting the video aspects to the user.
