  • Publication number: 20240416183
Abstract: An exercise apparatus and related method according to which the exercise apparatus includes a loading interface, a user support, and a load-bearing mechanism operably coupled between the loading interface and the user support. A load-bearing mechanism adapted to be operably coupled between a loading interface and a user support of an exercise apparatus. The load-bearing mechanism includes an actuator, a position sensor, and a force sensor. A method for adjusting a relative distance between a loading interface and a user support of an exercise apparatus using a load-bearing mechanism to accommodate users of varying size. Exercise systems and related methods according to which a kiosk is in communication with one or more of the following: a grip-strength tester or component(s) thereof; a balance board or component(s) thereof; a vibration system or component(s) thereof; and/or other exercise devices or systems.

  • Publication number: 20240197224
Abstract: An automated hand-biometric analyzer is provided. The analyzer comprises memory, a communication interface, a controller coupled to the memory, communication interface, and one or more load cell sensors configured to measure a hand grip strength of a user. A housing holds the memory, communication interface, controller, and load cell sensors, wherein the housing is configured to be received within the hand of a user. A gripping surface extends along a least a first portion of an outer surface of the housing and includes one or more connection points where the one or more connection points are communicatively coupled to the load cells. One or more cardiovascular sensors located on a second portion of the outer surface of the housing and configured to receive a palm of the hand of the user and measure cardiovascular parameters of the user.

  • Publication number: 20230317237
Abstract: An automated vibration device control system is described. The system is capable of remotely, automatically operating a vibration device which is meant to vibrate a user. Automation allows the device to apply custom vibration patterns in order to achieve desired outcomes. The control system can be implemented with or without user input—at varying levels. These outcomes can be improved by calculating the ideal vibrations based on the user's physical measurements, preferences, and past outcomes. Past outcomes may be determined based on the current user or other users deemed, by the system, to have similar characteristics and goals.

  • Publication number: 20230132952
Abstract: A photobiomodulation device and a method of using a photobiomodulation device are described. The photobiomodulation device includes a memory, a light emitting array, and a controller coupled to the memory and the light emitting array. In the photobiomodulation device, the controller is configured to cause a plurality of light sources of the light emitting array to respectively emit a first changing spectrum of light according to a set of instructions stored in the memory. According to the method the photobiomodulation device causes a plurality of light sources of a light emitting array of the photobiomodulation device to respectively emit a first changing spectrum of light according to a set of instructions.
