    Abstract: A cable assembly includes a housing having a mating end and a cable end and receives a cable through the cable end. The housing has a mounting block proximate to the cable end. A ferrule is configured to be terminated to the cable. The ferrule has an inner bushing and an outer bushing, with the inner and outer bushings cooperating to capture a cable braid of the cable therebetween. The ferrule is retained within the mounting block such that the ferrule is housed interior of the housing.
