  • Patent number: 11450490
Abstract: A panelboard system includes a panelboard, a first circuit breaker in the panelboard, a second circuit breaker in the panelboard, and an interlock assembly. The interlock assembly includes: an interlock panel, a first protrusion on the interlock panel and positioned above the first circuit breaker, a second protrusion on the interlock panel and positioned above the second circuit breaker, and a toggle bracket pivotally connected to the interlock panel at a pivot member between the first and second protrusions. The toggle bracket includes a first arm extending from the pivot member toward the first circuit breaker and a second arm extending from the pivot member toward the second circuit breaker.

  • Patent number: 8913354
Abstract: An enclosed metering and protective electrical apparatus includes an enclosure, a meter socket within the enclosure structured to input a power circuit and to engage a power meter, and a circuit interrupter within the enclosure including an operating handle and a trip mechanism. The circuit interrupter is structured to output the power circuit from the meter socket to a load and to interrupt the power circuit. A neutral current sensor within the enclosure is structured to detect a ground fault operatively associated with the power circuit and responsively cause the trip mechanism of the circuit interrupter to interrupt the power circuit. A disconnect handle substantially external to the enclosure includes linkage extending within the enclosure and cooperating with the operating handle of the circuit interrupter to open and close the circuit interrupter.

  • Patent number: 7569770
Abstract: An extension assembly is provided for an enclosure coupled to a structure, such as a building wall. The enclosure includes a panel member, a plurality of sides extending outwardly from the panel member to define an interior having a depth and forming an opening for accessing the interior, and a cover. The extension assembly includes at least one extension member coupled to at least one of the sides of the enclosure, and having a depth, and an adapter collar. The adapter collar overlays the extension member(s) and includes a flange portion engaging the exterior surface of the wall, and an aperture extending through the flange portion. The flange portion receives the cover of the enclosure, in order to provide access to the interior of the enclosure through the aperture of the flange portion. The extension assembly increases the depth of the enclosure by the depth of the extension member(s).

  • Patent number: 7209343
Abstract: An adjustable riser assembly for retrofitting an existing panel board enclosure with a replacement interior has a pair of base members secured to the rear wall of the enclosure with base flanges projecting forward. A floating member has end pieces with floating flanges that overlap and are joined to the base flanges by fasteners that engage selected ones of a second set of holes in each floating flange aligned along a first linear axis and a first set of holes in each base flange arranged in two rows each parallel to a second linear axis that is oblique to the first linear axis to adjust the height of the riser assembly. One or two planar members extending between the end pieces have a fourth set of holes that can be selectively aligned with a third set of holes in the end pieces for engagement by second fasteners to adjust the length of the riser assembly.
