  • Patent number: 10582813
Abstract: A device that provides temporary bathroom and toilet area illumination is provided. The device is best characterized as a toilet tissue spindle nightlight, containing various electronic subassemblies that operate together as a bathroom night lighting system. The spindle is capable of sensing movement, or vibrations, when a user accesses the roll of toilet tissue being held by the spindle. When movement is detected, the spindle automatically activates an integrated light to provide temporary and effective bathroom area illumination.

  • Publication number: 20160358013
Abstract: A method and system enables mobile wireless devices to identify and track each other in a connectionless communication scheme. Various use cases are possible, including image privacy, where users carry mobile devices that advertises their preferences and positioning data to other mobile devices in close proximity. When imagery collection begins on a given device, information from other surrounding mobile devices in the proximity is collected and processed against a plurality of onboard data acquisition tools and analytics to determine if certain portions of the collected imagery require redaction/filtering based on predefined relationships with the other surrounding users with mobile devices in the vicinity. Redaction and/or filtering may be managed based on a plurality of predefined inputs such as an established contacts list.

  • Patent number: 9257908
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention provide for an adaptive and accurate zero cross circuit that can operate without directly sensing an inductor current. Certain embodiments allow adjustment of a zero crossing condition while eliminating the need for a blanking time. In certain embodiments this is accomplished by detecting the effects of turning off a switch on a switching node voltage of a buck converter. Some embodiments use a counter to lengthen or shorten the delay time between an inductor crossing a zero value and the effect of the switching event. In one embodiment, the effect of the switching event includes a change in the direction of the switching node voltage from which the direction of a current flowing in the buck converter inductor.

  • Publication number: 20110285235
Abstract: An apparatus and method of providing output power from electrical pulse current in a highly efficient configuration. The input pulse current passes through a series of configured and wound input coils specifically positioned in an alternating manner in respect to wound and “tapped” output coils. Current is induced in the output coils in a highly efficient manner and can be output from the apparatus at each layer of winding, reducing resistance to induction.

  • Patent number: 7266766
Abstract: A method for simplifying the development, testing and maintenance of code objects that may be used, for example, to generate custom web page content. According to the invention, a developer isolates a given task, generates code for the task, and then provides a means by which a page-generating Java servlet can access that code at request time. The code may be generated at any time, and the servlet preferably is generated at translation time, i.e. when a request for the page is first made at a server. In a preferred embodiment, the code for the task is supported within a given method of a Java tagbean.

  • Patent number: 6981211
Abstract: A method of processing a document object model (DOM) tree having at least one tag located at a given node in the tree. The tag serves as a marker that initiates the invocation of a tag handler that, in turn, performs a simple macro substitution or a more complex algorithmic reorganization and manipulation of the tree. Upon encountering the tag, given information is passed to a method. In a first embodiment, the given information is a text representation of XML in the DOM tree at the given node and any child nodes of the given node. In an alternate embodiment, the given information is the given node of the DOM tree itself. The method generates an XML string, which is then parsed into a new DOM tree having a root node. The given node and any child nodes are then replaced by the new DOM tree, with the root node of the new DOM tree being positioned at the given node in the original DOM tree. The process may then be repeated for any additional tags.
