Abstract: One embodiment comprises a rules-based data processing system. The rules-based data processing system can comprise a processor and a memory coupled to the processor storing a set of computer executable instructions. The rules-based data processing system can use pre-calculated payment schedules to automatically populate a requested electronic document. The rules-based data processing system communicates the electronic document to the mobile application for presentation in the operator interface of a mobile device. The rules-based data processing system can further comprise a data store storing a set of depreciation models, each depreciation model having an associated vehicle year/make/model/trim, and payment rules to determine payment schedules for vehicles using the set of depreciation models.

  • Publication number: 20170146243
Abstract: An air swirler has a radially outer wall bounding an annular passage. The radially outer wall has an axially extending portion and a radially convergent portion which converges towards an outlet of the passage. Downstream of the outlet, the passage facing surface of the radially outer wall becomes divergent. The region in which the passage facing surface of the radially outer wall is convergent then divergent defines the flare. A circumferential and axially extending recess is provided in the radially outer wall opposite the flare. A reinforcement of material with superior wear properties to the material of the main body is built in the recess to a radius which coincides with that of the outer surface of the axially extending portion of the radially outer wall. The reinforcement can conveniently be added to the main body by means of a laser consolidation ALM process.

  • Publication number: 20160081675
Abstract: A device for collecting a tissue sample includes an outer sheath extending from a proximal end to a distal end and including a lumen extending therethrough. The device also includes a needle movably housed within the outer sheath. The needle extends from a proximal end to a serrated distal end and including a channel extending therethrough. The needle is longitudinally movable relative to the outer sheath between an insertion configuration, in which the distal end of the needle is proximal of the distal end of the outer sheath, and a tissue collecting configuration, in which the distal end of the needle extends distally past the distal end of the outer sheath to penetrate tissue and collect a tissue sample in the channel. In addition, the device includes a drive mechanism rotating a distal portion of the needle about a longitudinal axis thereof as the needle is moved between the insertion and tissue collecting configurations.

  • Patent number: 9076342
Abstract: This disclosure generally relates to automated execution and evaluation of computer network training exercises, such as in a virtual machine environment. An example environment includes a control and monitoring system, an attack system, and a target system. The control and monitoring system initiates a training scenario to cause the attack system to engage in an attack against the target system. The target system then performs an action in response to the attack. Monitor information associated with the attack against the target system is collected by continuously monitoring the training scenario. The attack system is then capable of sending dynamic response data to the target system, wherein the dynamic response data is generated according to the collected monitor information to adapt the training scenario to the action performed by the target system. The control and monitoring system then generates an automated evaluation based upon the collected monitor information.
