  • Publication number: 20200147415
Abstract: Techniques for selective modulation of motor neuronal activity in a peripheral nervous system using a focused ultrasound assembly are provided. Methods include adjusting a pulse repetition frequency parameter of a focused ultrasound to selectively modulate a location on a peripheral nerve and modulating the peripheral nerve with the focused ultrasound to increase a temperature of the peripheral nerve. The modulating can comprise one or more of exciting and inhibiting the peripheral nerve with the focused ultrasound, either separately or in combination. Methods can further include locating the peripheral nerve using an imaging probe, monitoring a physiological response to the modulating, and changing the one or more ultrasound parameters in response to the physiological response. Systems for use in the modulation of peripheral nerves are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20200125309
Abstract: In one example of the disclosure, a set of electronic document templates is accessed and instances of duplicated document content are identified. Display of a user notice for first duplicated document content is caused. Responsive to receipt of data indicative of a user instruction to create a component template for the first duplicated content, the component template is created and stored.

  • Publication number: 20200053145
Abstract: A solution for circumventing censorship is disclosed. A first device connects to a first server hosted in a content delivery network (CDN). The CDN routes the first device's connection request to the first server. The first server responds by providing the first device with a configuration file that contains a plurality of secondary servers for the first device to access. Accordingly, the first device disconnects from the first server and hops between one or more of the plurality of secondary servers contained in the configuration file. By distributing the configuration file from a first server hosted in a CDN, the first device is able to obfuscate the true endpoint of the connection. Thus, the first device is able to obtain the configuration file without drawing the ire of censors. By hopping from server-to-server, the first device is able to stay one-step ahead of censors. Accordingly, the present disclosure describes a multi-prong approach to staying a step ahead of eavesdroppers, sniffers, and censors.

  • Publication number: 20200012623
Abstract: Embodiments of systems and methods as disclosed may provide a platform agnostic way to edit content within an enterprise. For example, a platform independent thin client editor may be provided such that this editor can be accessed by users at a variety of computing platforms across the distributed computer network of an enterprise, regardless of the platform from which the thin client editor is being accessed. Moreover, certain embodiments may provide a role based mechanism for controlling the editing of content. Embodiments of such a role based mechanism may allow one editor of a content item to designate a role associated with the content item so that only users associated with that role may be allowed to edit the content item or portion of the content item.

  • Publication number: 20190247678
Abstract: Techniques for modulating peripheral nerves using focused ultrasound (FUS) are provided. Methods include locating a peripheral nerve in a subject using an imaging probe, providing a FUS having one or more ultrasound parameters to a location on the peripheral nerve, and modulating the peripheral nerve. The methods can further include eliciting and measuring a physiological response from the FUS modulation, generating tissue deformation in the vicinity of the FUS modulation, and imaging the nerve and the tissue deformation simultaneously with FUS modulation. Systems for use in the modulation of peripheral nerves are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20150267857
Abstract: A support system for an appliance includes: a transporting support having a transporting attaching interface that aligns with an appliance attaching interface wherein the transporting attaching interface and the appliance attaching interface are configured to align with each other to allow the transporting support to securely attach to the appliance via the transporting attaching interface and the appliance attaching interface; a temporary support that connects to the appliance at a place different than the appliance attaching interface; and a permanent support having a permanent attaching interface having dimensions substantially the same as the transporting attaching interface such that the permanent support attaches to the appliance at the appliance attaching interface when the transporting support is not attached to the appliance. A method for both transporting and supporting the appliance may also be provided.

  • Publication number: 20150016756
Abstract: Packaging (10) comprising a wrapper of flexible material (14) folded about a product (12) into a sleeve with opposed longitudinal side edge regions overlapping and sealed together to form a longitudinal seal, the ends of the sleeve being closed by transverse end seals (24, 26). An opening arrangement comprises an aperture in a main body (28) of the wrapper adjacent one of the end seals (24). The wrapper has a flap portion (32) integrally formed with the main body for closing the aperture. The flap portion includes an opening tab portion (62) located at least partially within or on said one end seal (24) that can be grasped by a user to initiate opening of the package. The flap portion (32) may be bonded to the main body (28) by means of a peelable and re-sealable adhesive.

  • Publication number: 20130344203
Abstract: A flow-wrapped package (14) is made of a length of flexible material (16). The package is closed by means of a longitudinal seal along one face and transverse end seals (20, 22) formed using a cold seal adhesive. One of the end seals (20) has an aperture (24) for suspending the package for display purposes. The end seal (20) with the aperture (24) may be embossed and/or it may have a greater depth (D) than the other end seal (22), at least over a region in which the aperture is formed. The longitudinal seal (118, FIG. 3) is a fin seal which 26 may be folded to overlay the display aperture (124, FIG. 2) and may have an aperture (124A, FIG. 3) corresponding to and aligned with the display aperture (124, FIG. 2) in the end seal. The display aperture (224, FIG. 4) may be positioned laterally off-centre so that the package hangs at an angle.
