    Abstract: Drone inspection of an undifferentiated surface using a reference image is disclosed. A plurality of images of a surface of a structure are analyzed to identify at least one image that depicts a feature in a portion of the surface based on a feature criterion, the plurality of images being generated by a drone comprising a camera, each image depicting a corresponding portion of the surface, and at least some of the images depicting the corresponding portion of the surface and a portion of a reference image. A location on the surface that corresponds to the at least one image is determined based on a depiction of the reference image in an image of the plurality of images.
