The composition further includes a salt and at least one sweetener. The composition has a moisture content of at least about 40% by weight, based on the total weight of the composition.

The compositions include one or more fillers, including a sugar alcohol, and optionally, a lipid or binder. The compositions may be in chewable, tablet, pastille, or meltable forms. Further provided are methods of preparing such compositions.
