  • Publication number: 20240081281
Abstract: An automatic animal feeding system is provided. Embodiments of the automatic animal feeding system include an automatic food dispenser and a food canister storing food pods. The automatic food dispenser couples to the food canister, receives a food pod form the food canister, removes a cover or lid from the food pod, presents the opened food pod for pet consumption, disposes of the food pod into a disposal compartment that is sealed off from the ambient air, and implements other steps of an automatic feeding process. Aspects of the automatic feeding process can be efficiently implemented, for example, by actuating two motors based on data received from sensors of the automatic animal feeding system. Accordingly, embodiments of the present disclosure provide a compact, control-efficient, self-cleaning automatic animal feeding system that can continuously personalize feeding patterns or feed a pet with little to no human intervention over a period of time.

  • Patent number: 9785424
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for an application thinning mechanism are described. The thinning mechanism can select a subset of components from a universal application to assemble an application variant to be distributed and installed to a specific type of devices. The universal application may include every component, such as asset, resource or executable, built/developed for targeted device attributes to install one common application to multiple devices. For example, the thinning mechanism can use a trait vector associated with a type of devices to iterate through the components and identify assets to be included or packaged into in each target device specific application or application variant.

  • Publication number: 20150347094
Abstract: The subject disclosure relates to methods and systems for facilitating software development. In particular, aspects of the technology relate to a method including steps for receiving source code from a user in an editor window, automatically compiling the source code to produce compiled code, and executing the compiled code to generate an output, wherein the output comprises one or more results from execution of the compiled code. In some aspects, the method can also include steps for providing a results window to the user, the results window displaying at least one of the results from the execution of the compiled code, and providing a visualization window to the user, wherein the visualization window is associated with a progress timeline and wherein the visualization window is configured to display an animation of the at least one of the results from execution of the compiled code.

  • Patent number: 8935671
Abstract: Debugging a graphics application executing on a target device. The graphics application may execute CPU instructions to generate graphics commands to graphics hardware for generation of graphics on a display. A breakpoint for the graphics application may be detected at a first time. In response to detecting the breakpoint, one or more graphics commands which were executed by the graphics hardware proximate to the first time may be displayed. Additionally, source code corresponding to CPU instructions which generated the one or more graphics commands may be displayed.

  • Patent number: 8930895
Abstract: Art editor within an integrated development environment displays a related file automatically. When a user enters a command to open a first file in the editor, the editor not only displays the first file's content (in a “primary editor”) but also automatically displays a second file's content (in a “related editor”), where the second file is related to the first file. In other words, when a first file is displayed in the editor, a file that is related to the first file is automatically displayed also. If the primary editor later displays a different file, then the file shown in the related editor will likely change as well, since the file shown in the related editor will be related to the “new” file in the primary editor. In other words, whatever is displayed in the related editor “tracks” whatever is displayed in the primary editor.

  • Patent number: 8434146
Abstract: Systems and methods for selectively providing access to a media device based on a profile associated with the media device. In certain embodiments, the profile of the media device can be user-defined as a development profile or a personal profile. When the device is connected to a host computer system, the profile of the media device is accessed. If the profile of the media device is a development profile, an integrated development environment on the host computer system can access the media device. If the profile of the media device is a personal profile, the integrated development environment is prevented from accessing the device.

  • Publication number: 20090228868
Abstract: Multiple target devices, such as wireless phones, may receive configuration data, such as software updates, configuration settings, developer environment settings, etc., from a host computer that automatically detects characteristics of respective target devices and selects the appropriate configuration data. A configuration process may generally include identifying the target devices, determining characteristics of the target devices, such as device type, device storage capacity, operating system, operating system version, installed software, etc., and selecting configuration data for updating the target devices for communication with the host computer.
