Publication number: 20240086030Abstract: A system for providing a self-service application within a virtual environment comprises a processor associated with a server. The processor receives a request with a first user data from a user device to conduct a first interaction in a real-world environment. The processor processes a user profile and the first user data to generate a virtual meeting area with an entity avatar associated with an entity device. The processor sends a first mobile deep link to the user device to grant access to the virtual meeting area. The processor generates a graphical user interface (GUI) to conduct the second interaction. The processor integrates a first video stream from the user device and a second video stream associated with the entity avatar on the GUI. The processor obtains a second user data from the first video stream and generate contextual objects. The processor renders the contextual objects into an application profile.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 12, 2022Publication date: March 14, 2024Inventors: Priyeshkumar Chandrakant Patel, Jitender Singh, Matthew Blake Bledsoe, Jennifer Corzo, Scott Fletcher Davidson

Patent number: 11810362Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for updating planogram data associated with a facility. The planogram may indicate inventory locations within the facility for various types of items supported by product fixtures. In particular an image of a product fixture is analyzed to identify image segments corresponding to product groups, where each product group consists of instances of the same product and each image segment corresponds to a group of image points. Image data is further analyzed to determine coordinates of the points of each image segment. A product space corresponding to the product group is then defined based on the coordinates of the points of the product group. In some cases, for example, a product space may be defined in terms of the coordinates of the corners of a rectangular bounding box or volume.Type: GrantFiled: March 3, 2020Date of Patent: November 7, 2023Assignee: Amazon Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Behjat Siddiquie, Jayakrishnan Kumar Eledath, Petko Tsonev, Nishitkumar Ashokkumar Desai, Gerard Guy Medioni, Jean Laurent Guigues, Chuhang Zou, Connor Spencer Blue Worley, Claire Law, Paul Ignatius Dizon Echevarria, Matthew Fletcher Harrison, Pahal Kamlesh Dalal

Patent number: 11496291Abstract: Media capture and verification originally-captured media files, the nature of modifications made to captured media files, and the authenticity of various versions of files related to the captured media are discussed. A computer identifies capture device output that represents an aspect of a recorded event. The computer cryptographically processes the capture device output to produce a validatable master file which includes master media data from the capture device output, master metadata of said master media data, and master file blockchain data. The master file blockchain data includes a master file block history portion, a master file signature key portion, a master file change indication portion, and a master file signed data hash portion. The computer also modifies the master media data to produce reference file media data. reference files and distributable files. The computer verifies the authenticity of each of these files.Type: GrantFiled: July 30, 2020Date of Patent: November 8, 2022Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Al Chakra, Bryce Frey, Komal Shrivastava, Jonathan Erskine, Matthew Fletcher

Patent number: 8655189Abstract: An optical modulation system includes a metamaterial structure configured to receive and process an input optical signal at at least one operational wavelength, where the metamaterial structure changes between a transmissive state and a non-transmissive state with respect to the optical signal(s) at the operational wavelength(s) in response to an external stimulus applied to the metamaterial structure. An external stimulus source is coupled with the metamaterial structure and is configured to change the metamaterial structure between its transmissive and non-transmissive states by applying selected stimulus pulses to the metamaterial structure. The optical modulation system processes the input optical signal to output a modulated optical signal that modulates in correspondence with the selected pulses applied to the metamaterial structure.Type: GrantFiled: June 18, 2010Date of Patent: February 18, 2014Assignee: Exelis, Inc.Inventors: Robert Joseph Almassy, Anthony Bresenhan Kaye, Thomas Matthew Fletcher
