    Abstract: A vehicle including a sensor unit and a processor is disclosed. The sensor unit may be configured to detect surface characteristics of a surface on which the vehicle is located. The processor may be configured to determine that the vehicle is located in a predefined geofenced area. Responsive to determining that the vehicle is located in the predefined geofenced area, the processor may determine that the surface characteristics may be equivalent to predefined characteristics based on inputs obtained from the sensor unit. The processor may adjust one or more vehicle operating parameters responsive to determining that the surface characteristics may be equivalent to the predefined characteristics.

When the retrieved attributes for the first portable wireless token identify the one of the portable wireless tokens integrated with the portable object, then it can be determined that the one of the portable wireless tokens integrated with the portable object is detected or not detected.

The vehicle may also assist with preventing towing and suggesting alternative parking locations that are not subject to towing. The vehicle determines its current location and based on that it may receive towing statistics data for the current location or may have that data integrated into the vehicle. The towing statistics data may include information about a frequency of towing at the current location. If the frequency of the towing exceeds a threshold, the vehicle may output a notification indicating that the current location is not recommended for parking. Additionally, the vehicle may use that same towing statistics data to determine alternative locations that are not subject to towing and suggests those locations for parking the vehicle.

    Abstract: A vehicle that can mitigate the effects of high ambient noise level is provided. The vehicle can determine using image data and/or other sensor data that the vehicle is in a convertible state. The vehicle further determines that an ambient noise level in the vehicle is higher than a threshold. The vehicle then switches the mode of operation in order to clearly receive audio input and interpret the audio input. The vehicle may enable a lip reading mode and/or a gesture and facial expression detection mode in order to determine words spoken by a user of the vehicle. The vehicle may further store association information between a gesture and a corresponding verbal command associated with the vehicle. In high ambient noise environments, the vehicle may suggest using the gestures/facial expressions instead of verbal commands.

The processor may be configured to obtain the first inputs from the detection unit, and determine that the driver's field of view may be obstructed based on the first inputs. The processor may obtain the second inputs associated with the geographical area from a vehicle sensor associated with the vehicle sensor suite, responsive to determining that the driver's field of view is obstructed. The second inputs may include real-time images of the geographical area. The processor may output the real-time images on a display screen in the vehicle.

The die table has a number of detents that cooperate with a locating arm to hinder indexing of the die table and position the dies in-line with the path of a reciprocating punch.
