    Abstract: Provided are systems, dressings, and methods suitable for treating a tissue site, such as an incision or linear wound, for example. The systems, dressings, and methods relate to a dressing assembly that may include a dressing bolster, a comfort layer, and a polymeric enhancement layer. The dressing bolster may include foam and may have a first side and a second side. A first side of the comfort layer may be coupled to the second side of the dressing bolster, and a first side of the polymeric enhancement layer may be coupled to the second side of the comfort layer. An opposing second side of the polymeric enhancement layer may be configured to directly contact the tissue site. Other systems, dressings, apparatuses, and methods are disclosed.

    Abstract: A cover for sealing a tissue site may include a shell having a first side, a second side, and an edge between the first side and the second side; an adhesive disposed on the first side; and a release liner adjacent to the adhesive. The release liner may comprise a flap folded over at least a portion of the edge of the shell. The flap may be configured to prevent the adhesive from migrating past the portion of the edge of the shell. In some examples, the shell, the adhesive, and the release liner can be folded, and the flap can be at least partially disposed between a first portion and a second portion of the second side of the shell. The cover may additionally comprise a sealing layer with apertures disposed between the adhesive and the release liner in some embodiments.
