  • Publication number: 20220230491
Abstract: A keyless puck lock apparatus with wireless communications and power interfaces. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a keyless puck lock system enabling a low cost and high security solution that is difficult to tamper with and defeat. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the system uses a keyless puck lock assembly that includes a hasp assembly and a keyless lock mechanism that does not require any physical mechanical keys so that it does not have a mechanical cylinder inserted therein to lock or unlock the puck lock. Accordingly, the keyless puck lock system in accordance with one or more embodiments of the present invention does not have a physical keyway which is a security attack point that is included in conventional hockey puck-type locks.

  • Publication number: 20220215707
Abstract: A multi-device electronic access control application, method and system. Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide for an end user mobile application that inter-operates with various types of electronic locking devices in a simple, repeatable method to enable a user to unlock any make or model of electronic access control device, if they are authorized to do so at that site, time and purpose, from a single mobile application user interface. An end user mobile application may be communicably engaged with a remote application server to integrate with enterprise backend user/site data and alarm systems, such that the end user mobile application is configured to manage user authorization/authentication, site access protocols/permissions and alarm management. An electronic access control method may comprise one or more steps for authorizing a user; suppressing an alarm; and unlocking an electronic locking device with a specified method for the given access point.

  • Patent number: 11354956
Abstract: An electronic access control system and method that enables conditional access to electronic locking systems according to user-based and situation-based safety parameters. Aspects of the present disclosure provide for a mobile access interface whereby the network operations center can assess a safety risk for a service site based on a combination of user-generated inputs, sensor inputs and/or external data inputs. The system may comprise a dynamic rules engine configured to dynamically determine safety and compliance associated with an access-restricted area. If the access-restricted area is safe, the system may enable access according to one or more access protocols. If the access-restricted area is unsafe, or the user requesting access is not in compliance with one or more static or dynamic safety parameters, the system may disable standard access protocols and deny access to the requesting party.

  • Publication number: 20170281073
Abstract: A wireless pressure ulcer alert dressing system for warning a patient or caregiver that soft tissue pressure or health condition has exceeded some predetermined level that over time would necessitate moving the patient to prevent or at least reduce a risk of soft tissue damage. The dressing assembly is adapted to be applied to or near a surface of the patient's body and generate electrical outputs corresponding to soft tissue pressure and other health characteristics sensed at the surface. The dressing assembly generates output signals based on the electrical outputs and corresponding to whether or not the soft tissue pressure has exceeded a predetermined pressure level during the preselected time period. The dressing assembly includes a pocket formed therein for removable, secured and protected insertion of a variety of different sensors such as multiple pressure sensors.

  • Publication number: 20090125809
Abstract: A system and method is provided for efficiently adapting information content for an electronic device. A normalizer includes a template normalizer for matching and applying a document tree to a template tree, and applying changes to the document tree. If the template normalizer does not find an appropriate template match, an automatic normalizer is utilized. The automatic normalizer utilizes weighting heuristics and pattern recognition with formatting rules to partition content into folders. The automatic normalizer can also utilize embedded normalization markup in the information content to assist in normalizing the information content. Information content can be represented by a document object tree. A document object tree is created by storing information relating to the information content into arrays. The stored information describes a document object tree structure and tree dependencies as a mutable object.
