  • Patent number: 11974639
Abstract: A connection arrangement for use with a wearable body harness has a first connector with a first fixed buckle configured to connect to a first portion of a first shoulder strap of the harness, and a first adjustable buckle configured to connect to a second portion of the first shoulder strap. The connection arrangement further has a second connector removably connectable to the first connector. The second connector has a second fixed buckle configured to connect to a first portion of a second shoulder strap of the harness, and a second adjustable buckle configured to connect to a second portion of the second shoulder strap. Each of the first adjustable buckle and the second adjustable buckle has an adjustment mechanism configured for adjusting a length of the second portion of the first and second shoulder straps by selective frictional engagement with the second portion of the first and second shoulder straps.

  • Publication number: 20220305308
Abstract: Provided is a self-retracting device including a rotatable hub assembly. The rotatable hub assembly includes a first half and a second half. The first half includes a slot for an axle. The second half includes a retraction member and a slot for the axle. The self-retracting device also includes an axle with a body extending through the slot of the first half and the slot of the second half and a line. A first end of the line includes a loop, wherein the loop is between the first half and the second half and the axle body extends through an opening defined by the loop. The rotatable hub assembly is configured to retract the line when the rotatable hub assembly moves in the first rotational direction and pay out the line when the rotatable hub assembly moves in a second rotational direction opposite the first rotational direction.

  • Patent number: 10821310
Abstract: A wearable harness has a first strap overlapping a second strap, with each of the first strap and the second strap having a longitudinal axis extending in a direction of a major longitudinal length. The wearable harness further has a reinforced opening extending through each of the first strap and the second strap. The reinforced openings have a pivot axis extending in a direction substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of each of the first strap and the second strap when the reinforced openings overlap each other. The first strap and the second strap are pivotally movable relative to one another about the pivot axis of the central openings.
