  • Patent number: 12318609
Abstract: An introducing device for locating a tissue region and deploying an electrode is shown and described. The introducing device may include an outer sheath. An inner sheath may be disposed within the outer sheath. The inner sheath may be configured to engage an implantable electrode. In an example, the inner sheath may comprise a stimulation probe having an uninsulated portion at or near a distal end of the delivery sheath. A sheath or needle may be coupled to a power source or stimulation signal generating circuitry at a proximal end. A clinician may control application of the stimulation signal to a tissue region via a sheath or needle.

  • Patent number: 12194296
Abstract: Device/system that provides pain relief by delivering stimulation that neither generates action potentials nor completely blocks neural transmission (in the peripheral nerve). The present teachings provide relief by modulating release of neurotransmitters in peripheral nerves to cause neuromodulation at the level of the peripheral nerve (modulation of neural signals in the peripheral nerve). The present teachings provide relief by modulating release of neurotransmitters in peripheral nerves to cause neuromodulation at the level of the peripheral nerve (modulation of neural signals in the peripheral nerve) to alter the frequency of physiologically generated neural transmission.

  • Publication number: 20240359021
Abstract: A connector assembly includes a base and a detachable cover. Ports on separate sidewalls receive an extension cable and a lead. A blade assembly maintains electrical contact between the cable and the lead, while providing a surface to strip insulation and/or sever the lead. Further, the blade is resilient so as to maintain sufficient contact with the lead when the cover is attached and/or locked to the base.

  • Publication number: 20240091537
Abstract: Provided are systems and methods for treating pain in the head and neck, including headache pain. The systems and methods may be used to deliver electrical stimulation to the occipital nerve(s). The systems and methods may be used relieve pain in the region innervated by the targeted occipital nerves as well as one or more regions of referred pain that occur outside the innervation region of the occipital nerves. Due to the complex structures and anatomy around the occipital nerve(s), precise placement of the lead is achieved by the described systems and methods.

  • Publication number: 20230146724
Abstract: A lead connector system for use with electrical nerve stimulators is described herein. An example lead connector for an electrical stimulator system includes a body, a blade, and an insert. The body includes a cable interface and defines lead ports. The blade is affixed to the body. The blade has at least one angled portion. The insert slidably connects to the body. The insert includes a handle and a chassis. The chassis defines a lead channel coaxial with the lead ports and blade channels transverse the lead channel to accept the blade. The angled portion of the blade provides electrical contact between the cable interface and a lead inserted into the lead channel and extending through at least one of the lead ports.
