  • Publication number: 20160108861
Abstract: An engine management system that maximizes the efficiency of internal combustion engines (gasoline or diesel) based on the performance demanded of the engine and the environmental conditions that the engine is operating in. The engine intake and cooling systems are arranged such that that the engine intake air temperature and pressure and coolant temperature are continuously optimized to provide reduced emissions on start-up and increased efficiency and performance in all environmental conditions.

  • Patent number: 8037802
Abstract: An improved transparent armor piercing protection system that acts as a vision window in an armor system. The transparent armor piercing protection system comprises ballistic plastic prisms with mirrored external surfaces disposed between armor plates so that the reflection of the image occurs entirely within the prism. The armor sheets are also redesigned with perforations to reduce weight while defeating incoming threats.

  • Patent number: 5577311
Abstract: This invention pertains to a method of rear drive conversion of the M113 family of vehicles to provide a light, mobile and tactical hybrid vehicle. The method includes stripping an M113 to a base aluminum hull and providing modified or newly fabricated parts to enable the conversion. Using the rear drive conversion process disclosed herein, critical operations parameters such as volume under armor, mobility, air transportability and vehicle performance efficiency per unit weight are significantly increased.
