  • Patent number: 11839255
Abstract: Helmet retention systems including a dial adjustment mechanism for adjusting the effective length of a head band are described. The dial adjustment mechanisms include a separator to separate portions of the head band during adjustment.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 3, 2020
Date of Patent: December 12, 2023
    Assignee: Avon Protection Ceradyne LLC
    Inventors: Vincent Borbone, Matthew Graves
  • Patent number: 11774480
Abstract: Systems, devices, and associated methods are provided for testing and tuning radiofrequency (RF) modules. An example system includes a test station including an imaging device, a measurement device, and a robotic arm. The system may include a rotary stage coupled with the robotic arm, measurement probes disposed in the rotary stage and operably coupled with the measurement device, and tuning tips disposed in the rotary stage. The system may include a galvo scanner and laser to remove conductive material. In operation, the test station may perform a testing procedure on an RF module where the measurement probes generate testing data indicative of testing parameters. The test station may perform a tuning procedure on the RF module where a tuning tip or the laser modifies the RF module based on the testing parameters. The testing and tuning may be performed by a user, semi-autonomously, or autonomously.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 11, 2022
Date of Patent: October 3, 2023
    Assignee: CAES SYSTEMS LLC
Inventors: James Scott Sacks, Baker M. Sharif, Thomas Matthew Graves, Nicholas Aaron Vong

  • Publication number: 20050044224
Abstract: A method and apparatus in which a Spender may spend money to buy an item, spend money on a donation, etc. A Spender (sometimes called a buyer) will typically use client software to access content, where the client is typically a computing device that includes a display, which facilitates the transaction between a Spender and an Earner. An “Earner” (sometimes called a seller) is someone who provides items or content within the system for sale, trade, or acquisition in return for credit or money earned. In the described embodiments, an Earner's server may be anything, which serves content and/or includes an Earner gateway, which facilitates trusted third party interaction frequently used in the system, and may also be used to describe several servers or a server farm. In some embodiments, the Earner's server is included as a part of the server controlling content access.

  • Patent number: 5936210
Abstract: The improved high performance muffler is used to attenuate the sound waves in exhaust gases from internal combustion engines and the like and has a casing, which includes a closed volume defined by side walls, a top wall, a bottom wall and inlet and outlet end caps. The casing also has a defined exhaust gas-flow passageway, which extends between the end caps, which is bounded by upper and lower walls within the casing and the side walls, and which includes inlet and outlet chambers adjacent to the inlet and outlet end caps, respectively. Two spaced apart, gas-flow channels. A gas-flow director assembly, disposed between the side walls and the upper and lower walls, defines two spaced apart gas-flow channels. The gas-flow channels have a uniform, smooth cross-section, and their lengths are substantially equal.
